Moody, Alabama is home to the world’s only shooting range that offers free eye protection for all customers. The range has been in operation since 1892 and is one of the most popular attractions in the city. Moody was once a teeming center of industry, but today it boasts nearly 300 businesses that rely on its heavy industry presence to generate jobs. The history of eye protection in Moody can be traced back to 1892 when an entrepreneur named W. H. Stockton opened his first gun shop in downtown Moody. Stockton offered free eye protection to his customers until he closed his business in 1909 because he could not find enough customers willing to pay for the service. That same year, another entrepreneur named Fenton opened a second gun shop next door to Stockton’s store. Fenton offered free eye protection until 1913, when he closed his business due to lack of demand from customers. In 1915, a man by the name of Dyer opened a third gun shop called The Shooting Gallery which offered free eye protection from 9am-4pm daily until 1916 because he couldn’t find enough people willing to pay for the service at that time. In 1927, an entrepreneur named Brown opened his own gun store called The Gun Store which offered freeEye Protection from 9am-4pm daily until 1936 because he could not find enough people willing to pay for the service at that time either. In 1938, an entrepreneur named Redman started offering self-defense classes using firearms as teaching tools and decided that it would make sense to offer Eye Protection services too so he renamed his business The Security Shop and began charging $5 per hour for their services starting on May 1st 1939 until 1945 while also offering self-defense lessons taught with firearms only through December 31st 1944 (the end of World War II). In 1951, Moody annexed into Mobile County and became its new county seat making it easier for businesses within our city limits to get involved in local politics as well as becoming more accessible due credit card processing within our city limits had become available within our banks by then! At this point we were able as a city full stop providing Eye Protection services at no cost whatsoever! Today, Moody is known for its scenic beauty (including some beautiful countryside) as well as its collegetown atmosphere - unlike most small towns in Alabama that are more focused on their economic self-sufficiency than on culture or education.

By 1830, the population of Birmingham had grown to over 5,000 people.
