The company produced mounts for rifle and artillery rifles, as well as cavalry horses. In 1922, American Mounts merged with Ebeneezer Bradley & Sons to form Bradley-Ebeneezer Corporation. In 1933, the company changed its name to Ebeneezer Bradley Manufacturing Company. In 1951, the company merged with Western Electric Company to become Western Electric/Ebeneezer Bradley Corporation. The merger created a conglomerate that had production plants in several states across the US and internationally. In 1992, Western Electric/Ebeneezer Bradley Corporation was sold to Siemens AG.
Half Moon Bay is a town located in Marin County, California, on the Golden Gate Bridge. The population was 15,871 at the 2010 census.[1] It is part of the San Francisco–Oakland–Hayward area. The first European settlers arrived in 1821 and built a mission near what is now Half Moon Bay. In 1853, Half Moon Bay became part of the United States following its admission into the Union as America's 29th state. The town was named after Halfmoon Bay near Monterey Peninsula in Santa Cruz County which in turn was named for Rear Admiral John F. Sloat who commanded American forces during World War II until his death in 1942. Half Moon Bay acquired its current name when it incorporated as a city in 1907 and annexed parts of neighboring Tomales and Sausalito counties. The city gradually lost population to parallel growth within Marin County but regained some residents over time until it had an estimated 20,000 residents by 1990,[2] including most of the older downtown buildings from when it was a small town with only 10-15 thousand people living inside its walls[3]. Today much of Downtown Half Moon Bay remains unchanged since beforeederation with most new development taking place along Highway 1 outside or adjacent to Highway 101 (the old main road). This suburban sprawl has led to some gridlock on major arteries such as Interstate 80 just north of town due to traffic congestion caused by more cars than people and businesses wanting to access local shopping malls that have replaced downtown businesses/residential areas since then!

Half Moon Bay was founded by Captain John Pritchett and his brother Capt. George Pritchett in 1839 as an agricultural outpost on Monterey Peninsula, about 12 miles northwest of Moraga. The first post office at Half Moon Bay opened in 1841, and the name "Half Moon" came from its location between two small moons that were seen during early mapping expedition led by Captain John Pritchett. In 1849, Half Moon Bay became a town under the jurisdiction of Moraga. The first Mayor of Halfmoon Bay was Julius Caesar Daly (1850-1858). The town had 1 store and 3 saloons when it merged with nearby Redwood City to form Redwood City-Halfmoon Bay Municipal Authority on February 1, 1959. On July 15th of that year Alameda County voters passed an ordinance creating a new city government within the newly formed municipality which granted full independence from Redwood City-halfmoon bay municipal authority on December 11th of that year. After secession from Alameda County, Half MoonBay became one of five cities in Contra Costa County (the others being Berkeley, Hayward, Fremont, and Richmond) when Contra Costa County was established November 3rd 1914 through passage of legislation by then Governor James M. Wickersham Jr.. The city's charter provided for a polynomial growth rate with no cap on population size or land holdings; growth continued unabated until 1965 when restrictions were placed upon the number of homes per capita brought about by concerns over housing costs alone resulting in an overall loss of 2 square miles (.81 sq km). Active transportation options included ferries to Tiburon Pierhead on Sausalito beaches and into Carquinez Strait; walking or biking to most destinations; however inadequate public transportation led to high rates for car rentals which eventually caused demand for bus service to outpace available funding/infrastructure capability thus limiting bus service availability even further exacerbating traffic congestion throughout much of Contra Costa County until recently due largely to low property values relative to other American suburbs experiencing similar levels cfShopping Center density & gentrification

A cotton boomtown developed around Half Moon Bay during this time, as farmers exported goods from California to Europe through Half Moon Bay. By 1870, Half Moon Bay had become an important seaport on the Pacific Coast and had become one of the most heavily populated places on Earth.
