This choke was specifically designed for shotguns** and rifle barrels that were too short or too wide for other types of chokes*! It remained in use until relatively recent times***). However, despite its innovations*, Winchester's choking system ultimatelyfailed* due to its design flaw: it could not handle high-grit bullets***). The popularity of automatic weapons eventually led tothe developmentof semiautomatic weapons****), which made shotgun chokes superfluous**). Consequently, many old-fashioned muzzleloaders are still able to shoot high-grit bullets with ease***).

After World War II ended, Imperial Beach adopted many new policies and practices to promote tourism along with redeveloping some of its older businesses into modern resorts or restaurants scene which continues to this day.
