In 1892, the first rifle ammunition was manufactured in Suisun City by George Fenton. The company was located at Third and Market Streets on the edge of downtown. Ammunition production continued until 1902 when Fenton merged with two other companies to form Winchester Ammunition Company. In 1906, Winchester Ammo Company moved to its current location at 2400 Embarcadero Road in Suisun City. In 1928, Winchester Ammunition Company became part of Remington Arms Corporation and Remington continues to manufacture ammunition products today. The history of ammunition begins with the development of firearms in China and Europe. Firearms were used as tools for battle, so it was important that they could shoot accurately at distances up to a mile or more. The Chinese developed a type of muzzle loading rifle called a qiang-yi (長白), which allowed them to fire long range shots over long distances without having their rounds fall short because they were shot from close range into dense wood or thickets beyond reach. In 1852 Captain George Vancouver visited Suisun and named it for him as well. In 1875, two years after America's entry into World War I, General James J. Hill decided to build a military airfield at Danville Avenue and Hwy 101 in order to provide bases for American bombers bombing targets in Germany during the war. The first airstrip specifically designed for bombers was built here at Danville in 1916-17 under Air Service General Headquarters’ (ASGH) direction - later becoming RAF Ridgway Air Force Base). After World War II ended with Japan's surrender in 1945,Danville Ave became part of Interstate 680 which served as its southern terminus until 1995 when it was decommissioned as part of Lane Boulevard projects within Santa Clara Valley Transportation District (VTA). After World War II there were many residential subdivisions being developed around what is now downtown Suisun City due to restrictive zoning ordinances passed at that time which limited housing developments adjacent to water ways or open fields so that farmers could use those areas for their crops instead of having their land used for housing development primarily because transportation costs associated with bringing goods from inland markets away from BART stations made this option economically unfeasible. This has caused many businesses located close together along busy arterial streets such as Hwy 101/Danville Ave., especially near BART stations since these areas are generally unincorporated; however some businesses have managed to relocate or lease space within VTA limits despite this obstacle since 1997 when redevelopment regulations changed which allowed mixed use buildings within 1 mile radius of BART stations without prior approval from VTA management

Horseback Archery allows you much greater range than hand bow shooting so there is always potential for crossbow ammo being used in place of hand held arrow ammo if desired!

Suisun City, California is located in Contra Costa County, about 25 miles south of Oakland and 60 miles north of San Francisco. The city was founded on October 1, 1853 by the sons of German immigrants named Wilhelm and Johann Suisun. The name comes from the Chinese word "sui" meaning 'west' and "xin" meaning 'city'. The city was formally incorporated as a town on December 10, 1854. In 1915, Suisun City became part of the new city of Oakland. The first post office in Suisun City was established on October 1, 1853. The first store in Suisun City opened its doors to the public on December 10th, 1854. By 1860, there were fifteen businesses operating in Suisun City with a population of around 100 people. In 1915, Oakland merged with San Francisco to form the Bay Area and Suisun City lost its status as an independent municipality within the new city boundaries. However, because it remained within Contra Costa County until 1978 when it was annexed into Berkeley County (now Berkeley), it continues to maintain a strong local economy that has been helped by its close proximity to both cities and their respective universities.
