The club soon became successful and began marketing its products statewide. Today, the Winter Garden Rifle Club still possesses a library full of weapons related books and videos as well as an active shooting program that hosts events throughout the year.

Winter Garden is a town in Putnam County, Florida, United States. The population was 4,821 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford metropolitan area. Winter Garden is known for its annual Christmas parade and its Hannukah celebration. The town was founded in 1892 by Dr. George Fenton as a wintering place for his family after they sold their farm near Miami to become a citrus empire. In 1912, Winter Garden became incorporated as a city and has since grown to include portions of Kissimmee and Sanford counties. The downtown district is home to many shops and restaurants as well as an art museum which opened in 2002. The city annexed part of Sanford in 2003 and now includes most of that county's population growth between 2000 and 2010; the annexation increased the population by over 30%. The Floridian Times reports that "the Census Bureau projects that Winter Garden will add another 2,000 residents this year – more than any other municipality in Putnam County." Climate Change: Some people are concerned about climate change because it could lead to less snow cover during winter months or even below-average temperatures throughout the year due to global warming trends. There have been studies done which show that there may be decreased amounts of ice on roads so drivers must slow down when driving in cold weather conditions; additionally, trees can suffer from freeze damage if not watered properly during colder months according to some reports (Lopez et al.). A study done by "The Christian Science Monitor" found that while winters may get warmer overall—by 1F (0C) since 1850—weakening glaciers means sea levels rise 3 feet (100 cm) by century’s end – putting millions more people at risk for extreme weather such as floods and droughts’ Tomaszewski said Wednesday." However, in 1870, President Ulysses S. Grant ordered all black soldiers to re-enlist in order to help end Reconstruction in America. This led to a new era of racial segregation within the military and it was not until 1964 that all black service members were finally granted full rights by the United States military as equals under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
Winter Garden, Florida is a town in Clay County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,752 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jacksonville Metropolitan Statistical Area. Winter Garden was founded in 1892 and became a city in 1959.
Winter Garden was originally a plantation in what is now Hillsborough County, Florida. It was started by John Chilton in 1837, and was the first cotton plantation in Hillsborough County. The Chilton family continued to own and operate the plantation until it was sold to J.P. Morgan in 1901. In 1907, Winter Garden became part of the newly created Tampa Bay Islands Corporation and changed its name to Tampa Bay Regional Planning Commission. In 1959, Winter Garden merged with neighboring Plantation Park to form Winter Garden-Plantation Park District.
