However, due to its location, Boulevard Park would become known for its many shooting events that took place there over the years including various state championships shotputs bowling championships etcetera (which still take place today!). It is interesting to note that although Boulevard Park never hosted any large sporting events outside of these annual competitions it did manage to become quite popular with residents for other reasons such as its reasonable valuation given its unique location! Since 2000, Roselle has experienced significant growth due to new development within and beyond its borders: an international airport serving Chicago–O'Hare International Airport; new housing developments; and a number of business parks including the Roselle Business Park Center which opened in 2002 and currently houses over 100 companies including Sears Holding Corporation (Sears), JCPenney Company (JCPenney), Ford Motor Company (Ford) and Macy's Department Store Company (Macy's). The Village owns two high schools - La Salle High School located on Wabash Avenue east of I-55 north of town while Bishop Dwyer High School is located on Saginaw Street south of I-55 just west of downtown Roselle
