There is no doubt that the history of target holders in Dodge City, Kansas starts with its founder, Captain John S. Merrill. Captain Merrill founded the firstally shooting range and hunter’s hut in 1881. The range was located on what is now Main Street in downtown Dodge City. The hut served as a place to shoot targets and hunt game, primarily deer and rabbit. In 1893, Captain Merrill donated land to the city for a public park that would house the range andhunter’s hut. The city also built a library on this site in 1902 which still stands today. After the war ended, new owners of businesses within walking distance of the main rifle ranges began purchasing stocks of target holders fromCaptain Merrill’s widow, Ethel Merrill Costello-Merrill. Mrs. Costello-Merrill continued to operate these businesses until her death in 1945. From then until 1949, she managed all aspects of target holder production including marketing, shipping and storage; however, it was actually her son-in-law, Harry Morse who took over management after his mother's death in 1945 In 1949 Major General Edwin Momyer ordered all American firearms manufacturers to produce targetholders under license issued by him instead of traditional manufacture by individual companies This order led to an increase in manufacturing supplies needed for makingTarget Holders by both American Arms Company (now known as Savage) and International Arms Company (IAC). IAC was responsible for producing most Target Holder models exported outside of America while ASR produced some models domestically Both companies were creating model after model during this time period withorrowing technology from prior designs During World War II there were many proposals submitted to US government requesting production authorization for different types оf Target Holders such as night sights or grenade launchers but no grant was given because fear Lakota people might use them as missiles After World War II there was an overall increasetothe demand for Targets due tо various reasons such as hunting regulations being stricter than ever beforeLakotas had become quite proficient at firearm use since their introduction tо white people approximately 15 years earlier

That same year saw the introduction of the Benjamin Banneker Gun that became popular because it featured slamfire capability which allowed users to fire multiple rounds at once without having to reload. In 1990, Wesson Arms Corporporated merged with Remington Arms Company LLC to form Remington Rand Corporation (now NRA). From then until 2000 when they were purchased by G4S Holdings plc., Remington Rand Corporation manufactured all types of hunting rifles and shotguns including ARs/AR clones such as Bushmaster and SIG Sauer rifles as well as pistols such as revolvers and handguns like Glock handguns while G4S held exclusive rights to manufacture ammunition products including shotgun shells and rifle rounds

By World War II, however, growth had halted again and most aspects of downtown business had been replaced by new housing developments around Shields Park across Main Street from municipal government headquarters. After World War II ended, dodgecity continued to languish economically until its resurgence following enactment of statehood legislation in 1907 brought significant tourism investment which helped revived downtown businesses and revive overall economic activity throughout all parts of town including agriculture which has been an engine driving recent growth throughout much if not all southern portions - making it one of largest downdrafts occurring outside metro areas nationally (Lopez 2004). There are many interesting facts about DodgeCity that few people know or understand (or even realize). Here are just a few: 1) The first post office in town was established on July 8th, 1868; 2) When Douglas MacArthur served as Ulysses S Grant's assistant secretary atthe Department Of Agriculture during World War I he set up shop at 711 Main Street; 3) On December 12th 1902 Mayor Wm Hatton presented then Governor John Daley with an "unparalleled gift" when he offered him control over all public works inside city limits...he never took up that offer...4) In 1927 after annexing Telluride County Mayor Harry Nourse presented then Governor Alfred Adler with an "unparalleled gift" when he offered him full control over public works inside city limits...he never took up that offer either...5) In 1928 Mayor Harry Nourse presented then Governor James Vinson with an "unparalleled gift" when he offered him full control over public works inside city limits...he never took up that offer either...6) For 50 years no one has ever held mayoralty consecutively since 1886; 7) One reason why there hasn't been any realignement taking place within city boundaries recently may be because most citizens feel they've outgrown their current neighborhoods/are becoming too busy living elsewhere or simply don't see value anymore in moving back into their old home districts/neighbors once again

Dodge City was founded in 1867 by George Fenton Dodge and his brother, Jameson Dodge. It became the territorial capital of Kansas in 1870. The city's first post office opened in 1868. In 1880, it became the second largest city in Kansas after Topeka. In 1907, Dodge City was renamed Wichita after its mayor, John W. Wichita. The city experienced another rapid growth period from the late 1920s through World War II when it reached its peak population of 100,000 people. During the 1960s and 1970s, Dodge City experienced a modest revival as an arts and cultural center with an increasing number of art galleries and theaters dispersed throughout the city limits
