During World War II, roseVILLE became an important manufacturing center for munitions production due to its location on nearby I-75 between Detroit and Flint Heights (which would later become Dearborn Heights). In 1945-46, local companies produced over three million rounds of ammunition for use during World War II alone. In recent years, Roseville has seen growth due to new development around downtown including residential housing developments as well as a number of businesses related to service industries such as health care or technology companies; these have led to increased traffic congestion on I-75 near downtown which has caused some concerns about future growth potential for this particular corridor within Iron County overall. In 1898, when Pleasant Ridge Dam was completed upstream from town, creating the Hartselle Reservoir reservoir system which remains one integral piece of local water management today, population growth spurred dramatic changes for both architecture and industry within town boundaries - especially downtown where commercial buildings were erected along East Main Street while industrial areas expanded beyond Fourth Avenue into what is now Old Town Square/First National Bank building - becoming one significant focal point for social life across much of rural Muskegon County until well after World War II when automobile travel eliminated most need for passenger transportation outside urban centers throughout much of North America. With its growing economy came suburban sprawl which has impacted quality of life greatly since then residents have worked hard to preserve historic character while trying to attract new businesses and residents alike through various initiatives such as a heritage district designation status granted to downtown in 2013 followed by renovation efforts celebrating centennial anniversary this past year including restoration work on several key icons associated with town’s earliest years like public square blocks E&W Grist Mill (built 1847), Tabor House (built 1865), Masonic Temple/Lodge Building(Built 1870)/Commerce Block( Built 1912)), Carpenter’s Shop Building/Natchez block( Built 1872)), John Fenton School District No.(1901)-present day school house located at 4th Ave SE corner N White Clay Rd./Roseville High School inside old post office building)
