Bellefontaine Neighbors is located in the Ozarks mountains of Missouri. The community was founded in 1867 by white farmers and their slaves. By 1870, Bellefontaine had a population of 350 people. In 1884, Bellefontaine became a town when it was annexed by St. Louis. In 1907, the town voted to change its name to Bellefontaine Neighbors after the creation of Bellefonte Township in neighboring St. Francois County. Bellefontaine Neighbors experienced significant growth during World War II as it served as an Army training center for soldiers from all over the Midwest and Southeast. After the war, the community resumed its typical agricultural patterns and development until around 1970 when there were several high-profile fires that destroyed much of the community’s infrastructure – including one that burned down most of the schoolhouse in 1984 (the only fire to do so in Bellefontaine since annexation). Since then, much has been done to improve access to education and recreation within BellefontaineNeighbors; however, some challenges still remain such as crime rates and recent relocations of businesses away from neighborhoods due to gentrification or new development nearby. Despite these challenges, overall resilience has been demonstrated through continued growth and progress made by residents across generations who have adapted their lifestyles and values while remaining connected through shared experiences

Contact Taser devices use an electric current through the user’s body to stun or kill target animals. Wirelessly connected devices connect to a computer or mobile app and send data back to police stations across the US for analysis. The newest type of device is the “stingray” which uses ultrasound technology to stun or kill targets inside buildings. There are many benefits to using tasers including reducing fatalities in law enforcement incidents, saving taxpayers money onPolice officer injuries, and improving public safety overall. In 2015, there were 513 fatalities from officer-involved shootings in the US – this number is down from 619 deaths in 2014 but still high enough that it leads CDC officials to recommend that officers be wearing body cameras when using firearms outside of criminal activity

In response to the Rodney King case, the Los Angeles Police Department began using tasers as a substitute for handcuffs. The LAPD started using tasers in 1992.

Bellefontaine Neighbors was founded in 1841 by a group of European immigrants who came to Missouri in search of land and opportunity. The area that would become Bellefontaine Neighbors was originally part of the town of Ottawa, Illinois. In 1846, the first settler in BellefontaineNeighbors, John Giannini, erected a cabin on what is now the corner of Elm and Walnut Streets. By 1850, there were five families living in Bellefontaine Neighbors. The population grew rapidly during the early years of civilization due to factors such as farming and ranching opportunities, as well as German immigration and new American settlers. The growth of Bellefontaine Neighbors was also due to its location – it located on a main route between Springfield and St Joseph. This made it an important center for trade and commerce. Many businesses here developed into large enterprises that continue to operate today including Giannini's Store (now called KFC), Joes Hardware (now known as Home Depot), grocery store bakery/cakery Grain & More (now known as KFC) and many others. During World War II, Bellefontaine Neighbors played an important role in the war effort by providing housing for military personnel stationed nearby. There were also many factories which produced goods for use within the army or Navy - some still extant today include Phelps-Dodge Arsenal at 6th & Maple streets, Hormel Foods at 11th & Maple streets, Chrysler Corporation at Elm & Walnut Streets and other organizations which have since died out but their products remain popular with locals and tourists alike!
