Wildwood, Missouri is a small town located in the Ozarks region of southeastern Missouri. The population was 5,813 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. Today, Wildwood Arms Manufacturing Company manufactures both handguns and holsters under multiple brand names including NRA Standard/Walther/Sig Sauer/ Savage Arms/etc., among others. In 1857, Wildwood became one of three communities within Platte County that were consolidated with Marshall County to form Logan County. By 1870, there were over 100 residents living in Wildwood. In 1897, Wildwood incorporated as a village under the name "Walden." The village had a population of 350 people and functioned as an information center for all aspects of life in the area including agriculture and commerce. From 1907-1911, Walden experienced significant growth due to the influx of tourists who traveled to see sites such as Osage Hills National Monument and Mount Rushmore National Monument on their way between St. Louis and Omaha City in Nebraska. In 1951-1954, during World War II (the Korean War), many local citizens donated foodstuffs to help feed troops stationed abroad on Guadalcanal and other islands in World War II. Afterward, many people worked at various companies that opened up after the war including Midwestern Bell Telephone Company which built phone lines throughout much of eastern Missouri; American Can Company which manufactured cans at their new plant south near Interstate 55; PPG Industries which constructed factories throughout western Kansas; Southern Pacific Railway Company which opened up tracks through largely rural areas along its route from Springfield to Topeka; United States Rubber Corporation which set up shop in what is now known as downtown Wilde Lake; Carbondale Tire & Rubber Company set up shop on Main Street; Sears Roebuck & Co., also took over several stores within city limits before shutting down later that year - these closures helped contribute to an overall decrease in retail output during those years ().

This type of holster consisted of two adjustable straps that allowed for different cant angles to be controlled, making it ideal for law enforcement officers or soldiers who needed to move their weapon around with ease. It wasn't until 1922 that the first "icicle" holster was created by George Weiser from Germany. This type of holster consisted of four metal straps that linked at one point along the front strap and connected at another point near the backstrap. This gave Holsters its unique design which made it perfect for concealed carry while still being able to accommodate any firearm without having to adjust it too often

Wildwood was a small community in the Jackson County, Missouri area until around 1920. It was located on the east side of Wildwood Creek, about two miles south of where it now stands. The first permanent settler in Wildwood was John Parnell who arrived in 1837. In 1840, Isaac Chapman came to Wildwood and built a store and tavern at what is now the corner of Main and Elm Streets. In 1845, Sam Rayburn purchased land from Parnell for $200. He built a cotton gin on the site that still stands today. In 1848, Drury & Company organized as an express mercantile company with offices at what is now downtown Wildwood. They sold goods door-to-door throughout Jackson County including Wildeood. The first post office in Wildwood was established on October 15, 1851 by Henery Ballou with mail delivered to his home from other parts of the county. By 1865, there were six post Offices in Jackson County with more than 500 residents serving! By 1880, wild growth had taken over due to their increased population density caused by rapid agricultural expansion which led to increased prices for commodities like cotton and corn along with high demand for workers during this time period causing many people to move out of their original homes into new settlements or townships!. Some residents did stay however because of its good quality schools (such as those operated by The Methodist Episcopal Church) as well as its close proximity to large cities such as St Louis and Hannibal Mound (now Independence). The railroad reached Wildwood in 1886 making it an even more important community but also contributing to its decline over time due largely to competition from larger communities located further away within easy access via train!

Wildwood was founded in 1836 by John C. Frantz and his wife Nancy. The town site was chosen because of its location on the Wildwood River, which offered easy access to lumber and other resources. By 1840, Wildwood had a population of around 100 people. In 1851, the Frantz family moved from Wildwood to Springfield, Missouri. In 1865, the Frantz family again moved to Wildwood when their farm was destroyed by fire. In 1892, Wildwood became a city and was named after Mount Washington in New York City. In 1906, the city annexed St Charles County and renamed itself Wildwood again.
