Bozeman is a city in the U.S. state of Montana. The population was 58,688 at the 2010 census. It is the largest city in Montanan and the second-largest city in Northwest Montana. Bozeman is located on the Bannock River and has a humid continental climate (Köppen Climate Classification "Dfb"), meaning that it experiences warm summers and cold winters year round. Cities such as Boise, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls are located to its north while Missoula is located to its south. By 1886, Bozemen had six hotels and 12 saloons with a population of 22 people; by 1890 this number had grown to 36 with 5 hotel rooms and 16 saloons combined.
