After the war ended, many people integrated back into society while others chose to remain rural residents until recently when technology has invaded much rural life with high-speed internet access everywhere making life easier for everyone; however some still cling onto their traditional values

In 1834, John Copley bought interest in the mill and changed its name to Copley & Company Manufacturing Company Limited (later renamed United States Steel Corporation). Throughout its history, United States Steel Corporation has been one of New England's leading manufacturers of steel products including primarily forgings (steel pieces made from iron ore or coal), sheet metal products such as railroad track rails and tyres
