This allowed shooters to use any riflescope that was available at that time without havingto purchase an additional mount. In 1945, yet another man named Clyde Ivey began selling Scopes called the "Ivey Scope" which were much like the Alfred Easley Scope but they utilized an M43 mounting system for attaching their optics onto riflescope mounts. This allows shooters to use any riflescope that is available today without havingto purchase an additional mount
