This change led to the development of handgun-pouch hybrid products called “crotch clips” (or simply “clipboards”). These devices allowed owners of handguns to store their weapons securely within their clothing so that they could use them when necessary without having them exposed on either side of their body like with traditional holster systems. The popularity of clipboards eventually spawned its own industry which grew considerably during World War II thanks to demands from military personnel stationed around the world. Gun clip manufacturers produced thousands of different models between 1939 and 1945 relying principally on WWII soldier demand rather than any innovation materialized from outside sources alone

He and his family were among the original 7 families who founded Lima Township on the banks of the Mahoning River in 1812. The township became part of Gahanna Township on January 1, 1815 after it was organized as a village by order of General David Trumbull. The city of Gahanna was platted on February 14, 1907 by Samuel Atherton with Wm Hite as developer and Jno Dickey as Architectural Consultant On July 16, 1912, its name changed from Lima to Gahanna when it incorporated as a city underemergency charter number 3458-01 . The first mayor was Fenton McMillin who served until 1916; he later served as Mayor pro tem for one term (1917-1920). In 1922, City Council passed an ordinance providing for fluoridation of water supplies and creating streetlights throughout the city; this ordinance remained in effect until 1956 when it was repealed due to growth within the city limits and new development having arisen since then. As a result, today's only remaining public lighting system operated within municipal boundaries came into service around 1978 when a new light pole and wiring were installed behind City Hall following an arson attack that destroyed two adjacent poles during regular night hours which caused considerable inconvenience to residents living near City Hall/Waterfront Park

In 1841, Gahanna hosted the first annual fair in Ohio and remains one of its most popular tourist destinations today. In 1863, Gahanna helped to organize and lead an unsuccessful effort to secede from the United States and form a separate country called Canada East. From 1865 through 1890, Gahannan served as county seat for CuyAHania County until it was moved to Mentor in 1896 following enactment of the General Land Act that made Cleveland its new county seat. In 1938,GahanAN merged with Amherst Township to form Amherst Township/Gahannan Borough along with Mentor Township which amalgamated with Darke County in 1951 to form Warren County (Warren Local Government District #1). On November 3rd, 1992 there were three local referendums held in township elections resulting in incorporation into Warren County as part of that county's reorganization process; this move left about ninety percentof township residents within Warren Local Government District #1 without representation when Warren County formed as an all-county government under state law on January 1st., 1993.)
