In 1959, Babcock & Wilcox introduced their own Safe brand which became extremely popular due to its innovative design which incorporated multiple adjustable shelves allowing users to customize their safety settings according to their needs. The Safes continued being produced by Babcock & Wilcox until 1984 when they merged with United States Fire Arms Company (USFA). At this point, USFA began producing allsafes under the Babcock & Wilcox name until1994 when they merged with Glock Corporation’s Safe Division creating what is now known as Glock Safe Solutions Incorporated (GSSI). After merging with Glock Corporation’s Safe Division, GSSI began producing allsafe models under the new name of “Glock” as well as designing new products such as handgun locks and trigger locks specifically designed for handguns! Glock also continues making traditional door-mounted safes today!

Today, University Heights is home to many undergraduate and graduate students from across Greater Cleveland Area universities as well as other colleges and private institutions. The first Europeans to visit what is now University Heights were French traders who landed on the shores of Lake Erie in 1696. Jesuit missionaries founded Xavier's College in 1768 on land donated by George Washington after he became president of the United States that year. In 1814, when Ohio became a state, University Heights became part of Cleveland. In 1851, Methodist Bishop John Wesley established Methodism's first church in what is now University Heights with $10 worth of goods given by his friend Nicholas Coleswood (a founder of Cuyahoga County). In 1875, when Cleveland annexed university townships east of Kirtland Road into the city limits, Upper Arlington was one such township included within City limits (it currently forms part of Mayfield Township). On July 1st 1915 , during World War I , Eastern Kentucky Regiment Private First Class Harry Wessels (1913-2015) enlisted from Univohaven High School & later attended US Military Academy at West Point before dying while serving with Company G 2nd Infantry Regiment During World War II he was awarded General Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters

University Heights, Ohio was founded in 1849 as a small settlement on the east side of the Scioto River. By 1860, the town had more than fifty homes and businesses. The town's first school was built in 1872 and its first courthouse was erected in 1875. In 1902, University Heights became a part of the newly formed city of Cleveland. The population of University Heights grew to over 1,000 by 1915 and it remained an important community until its annexation by Cleveland in 1984. Today, University Heights is a small unincorporated community located outside of Cleveland on the eastern edge of Greater Cincinnati. The history of University Heights begins with early settlers who arrived in early 1800s seeking fortune and adventure in what is now northeastern Ohio. Many Irish immigrants participated in this process by working their land and building their homes here during the 1830s- 1840s era when Ohio was still part of British America. Some notable natives who lived or worked here include John Darnall (1784-1868), inventor and manufacturer; Jonathan Dayton (1805-1873), manufacturer; Isaac Asbury (1796-1878), Ulysses S Grant’s distant relative; George Stephenson (1792-1847), locomotive builder; Moses Prentice (1795-1865), physician; James Kappler (1800-1864), surveyor; Samuel Halleck (1800-?), miller/factor; Elijah McCoy (c 1781 - 1865) – one of “the fathers”of educational institutes for women – attorney at law Daniel Webster – general store owner Jno Biddle – banker Drury & Co.; lumbermen Daniel Weirbach, Nicholas Weiser also operated sawmills hereabouts from time to time while other business ventures included wagon manufacturing interests involving Fenton Bros., Wessel Bros., Sonnenberg & Co., Messrs Simonds & Ladd etc.; various churches ere First Presbyterian Church consecrated December 21st AHDT 1861 followed by Congregationalist Church Octave 2nd AHDT 1862 both being dedicated under Rev Rufus King then Pastor Tilton until his death Feb 3rd AHDT 1865 Reverend Charles Greenidge officiating additionally later becoming pastor until his death Jan 25th 1889 Reverend Geo Witherspoon serving interim for several months eventually succeeding Rev G Witherspoon Apr 15th 1889 until Dec 10th 1892 when he resigned due to health reasons effective Dec 11th 1892 Rev Hiram Powers replacing him prior to installation Nov 5TH 1893 Rev Harry Cushinginstallation occurring Dec 11th 1893 through Mar 4TH 1895 when he retired effective May 6TH 1896 Doctor Nathaniel Gibbs relieved him after eight years service Apr 15th 1898 Spalding Brothers operate Masonic Lodge No 5 which has been active continuously since Nov 5TH 1897 property purchased from them Feb 8TH 1899 Located at 601 Tremont Ave today
