These businesses include: Hennig's Cheese Factory (now known as Gouda Brothers), Old Hickory Cheese Company, and Greeneville Creamery Ltd.. Additionally, much of MillINGTON's history can be found within their local historical society - such as their first church being Baptist on land donated by Judge Clement Coker - which still operates today as First Baptist United Methodist Church with over 1,000 members from all 50 states who attend services every Sunday morning from 9am-10am EST!

Millington is one of two towns in Williamson County that still maintain their original name: the other is Milledgeville. Millington's early history can be traced back to 1811 when John and Nancy Hargrave settled in what is now Millington Township near Great Mills Creek. By 1830, Millington had become an important stop on stagecoach travelers journeying between Memphis, Nashville and Jackson. In 1835, Elijah Wright started gristmill operations in what is now Millington Township and soon became known as one of the leading flour mills in the region due to his innovative mill design which used water power to turn out high-quality flour at low cost (compared to traditional methods which used animals). In 1840, Elijah's son James built a cotton gin next door to his father's mill for processing cotton bales into fabric goods such as overalls and shirts. This short-lived gin would later become part of legendary Sam Houston State University where it remains today as an active research lab dealing with various agricultural topics! During Reconstruction Period (1865-1877), much activity took place within the boundaries of present day Millington Township including blacksmithing, foundry work and carpentry done by white men employed by rich local farmers who needed these skills during difficult times following the American Civil War. Many businesses closed during this time; however, Elijah Wright's flour mill continued operations until 1865 despite being subject to numerous raids by Union forces seekingto seize property associated with Confederate sympathizers - an experience many residents will never forget! The postbellum period saw some significant changes though - most notablyLarge numbers of European immigrants arrived in Williamson County during this time frame seeking opportunities unavailable to native Tennesseans such as jobs available at mills or land grants available for farming etc... They quickly assimilated into society while also slowly gaining access to education and new technologies which began TO boomerang back around them across America... although they did not all flourish like those from olden days did! In 1928/29 some progress was made when photos were taken of buildings insideMillington before demolition began proceedings!!!
