The first major Optical Manufacturer in Morristown was Fenton-Lancaster & Company which developed and manufactured lenses, mirrors, light bulbs and other optical products. over time more companies were founded including the Brownells Company who produced telescopes and binoculars, Sears Roebuck & Co. who made photography equipment, Allied Signal Corporation who produced television sets and antennas, RCA Laboratories which developed video cameras and monitors as well as home cinemas
Morristown is a small town in Hardin County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 1,876 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chattanooga–Foley metropolitan area. Morristown is one of the oldest towns in Tennessee and was founded by Scots-Irish settlers in 1786. The original name for the town was "Newburgh". The first store in Morristown was built on what is now Main Street in 1802 by Major John Denton and his brother-in-law James Watt. In 1812, Morristown became a separate town when it merged with Knoxville. In 1865, Morristown became an unincorporated community and post office called Newburgh again. In 1886, the post office moved to its current location on State Route 309 east of downtown. In 1898, Morristown had its first schoolhouse which stood until 1951 when it was replaced by a modern building that still stands today. In 1915, World War I veteran General George Custer died nearby at Appomattox Court House battlefield near present day Antioch after being fatally wounded during the battle of Gettysburg; his funeral took place at Fairview Cemetery in Morriston before he bequeathed $5 million to various charities including $500,000 to Vanderbilt University's Foundation for Advanced Learning). On November 8th (the day after his death),Morriston held its first general election ever under state law and voted directly on statewide questions instead of through precinct caucuses as had been done hitherto due to concerns over fraudulence potentialities attendant thereto (see also: American Revolution - Causes & Consequences)). At this time there were only 3 voting districts - Greeneville Township., East Nashville Township., and McMinnville Township.; all other township elections were conducted through precinct caucuses or committee meetings..

By 1892, some companies had developed a type of corrective lens known as a monocular lens which allowed people with low-vision to see clearly without glasses. This development was very important because it allowed people who couldn’t afford regular glasses to still enjoy good vision while using optical equipment such as telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and radar equipment. As technology improved, new ways to use optics became available. In 1894, Professor Charles Wheatstone invented what is now known as an interferometer which allows us to measure tiny changes in light waves at different distances away from the object being measured. This invention was very important because it allowed scientists to study things like weather patterns and medical treatments by measuring how well they work at various distances away from an object

Morristown is a small town in Williamson County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Williamson County and is part of the Knoxville metropolitan area. The name Morristown comes from the Cherokee word "Morton" meaning "a resting place." The first permanent settler in Morristown was Nicholas Woodbury in 1793. He built a log cabin on what is now State Route 136 or US 127. In 1813, John Sevier founded the first school in Williamson County and named it Sevier's Academy after himself. A Presbyterian church was also founded here in 1813. In 1830, John Wesley arrived here to preach Christianity to Native Americans and started a mission station called Fort Worth Missionary Baptist Church which still exists today. The community continued to grow until around 1870 when many people left for economic reasons due to persistent flooding along the Cumberland River caused by heavy rains during the American Civil War (1861- 1865). In 1880, Morristown had an estimated population of 2,500 people; however this number decreased rapidly due to various factors such as new settlement developments across the river such as Knoxville and Chattanooga that replaced older settlements; decreasing production at local mines; increased competition from other coal mining communities within Tennessee; and mass migration of Appalachian mountain people westward into central Kentucky during prohibition (1920- 1933). However, even with these drawbacks Morristown continued significant growth throughout most of its history: by 1910 it had attained a population of 5,000 people according to public records. During World War II (1939- 1945), much activity took place within and outside Morristown including munitions manufacturing at Ford Motor Company's facilities south of town while large numbers of workers were recruited through military service into companies located throughout southern Appalachia such as Bethlehem Steel Corporation’s Foundry Division east of town near Antioch which manufactured tanks, artillery pieces and other war materials used by Patton’s Third Army during Operation Market Garden on September 16th 1945. With television exposure came increased tourism which led to more businesses opening up in town with restaurants becoming popular among locals as well as visitors coming seeking attractions like golf courses set among rolling hillsides minutes away from downtown Morristown or swimming holes just outside city limits – making it one stop for everything from hiking trails all the way down to fishing trips deep inside Lake Barkley National Wildlife RefugeBuy Photo As commercial development grew more prevalent in downtown Morgtown over time there became increasing traffic congestion that negatively impacted public transportation options available especially buses serving schools located adjacent thereto: starting with streetcars running between downtown Morgtown/High Street Station & Christmastime events held at nearby Goodlettsville High School before transitioning ontoRoute 7 shuttle bus services providing access both ways until about 1970 when express buses began operating alongwith several recently opened parks specifically designed for children including Teddy Roosevelt Park off First Avenue just east of Main Street) which has since become one major attraction for residents & visitors alike!
