However, several talented individuals continued work at The Seviers Works until it closed its doors in 1922 due to overproduction caused by World War Iping capital investments elsewhere within Tennessee Coal and Iron Company (TCIC). Red Banks residents have long been proud of their history and culture which has shaped their community into an important cultural center within Appalachian Regionism today. There are numerous annual events associated with Red Banks’ traditional lifestyle such as Oktoberfest celebrations or butterale dances which celebrate agricultural produce obtained during early fall harvesting periods around October 15th-20th each year!
