On October 1st 1957 City Council adopted Resolution Recognizing Mexico’s National Day – “La Mision es Prevenir el Delito” . On October 15th 1957 Mayor Tomás Jara sponsored bill creating state co-operative program known as Ajo Nuevo Fideicomiso de Seguro Social para Familiares De Niños En La Ciudad de Mexico (AJO) which became effective January 1st 1958 .
