The first humans to arrive in the area were Paleo-Indian and there is evidence of human bipedality dating back as early as 15,000 years ago. Two different forms of human bipedality are known- the Clovis man and the Acheulian man. The Clovis man was a small, stocky individual with long arms and legs. They may have used these features to hunt large game or scavenge food sources. The Acheulian man had shorter arms and legs which may have allowed them to carry goods or do other tasks more easily on their feet than on their hands. While there is no one definitive answer to this question, it is clear that bipedalism has played a significant role in human history.

Kenmore is a town in Clark County, Washington, United States. The population was 9,451 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. The town's history dates back to 1851 when it was organized as a farmstead and postoffice named Kenmore. In 1907, it became the county seat of Clark County. The first store in Kenmore opened its doors on Main Street in 1908 and was run by Mrs. John Laughlin. As smalltown America grew larger and more complex, Kenmore found itself at odds with the county government over issues such as building regulations and school taxes. In 1916, residents voted to secede from Clark County and form their own municipality under the name of "Kenmore". The first mayor was George Waddell who served until 1948 when he succeeded his predecessor Everett Murchison Jr.. In 1984, then-Mayor Rich Miller announced plans for a $10 million redevelopment of downtown Kenmore which would include an arena with seating for 8,000 people and a new library/theatre/cafeteria addition. However, after much community opposition that included a sit-in by citizens during Mayor Miller's inauguration ceremony, the proposal were cancelled without explanation several months later citing budget constraints as the reason. Plans for another development called Diamond Hill were also scrapped due to public outcry following revelations that the developers had borrowed money from venture capitalists while they were still awaiting approval from city officials for their project - an issue that would resurface years later when scandal rocked Beacon Hill shopping mall developer First Pacific Properties Inc.. In recent years Kenmore has seen growth in arts and culture with several music venues opening up along with several galleries including Gallery West (now known as Highline) which reopened in 2006 after closure for eight years; Sakai Studios (now known as Columbia City Art Museum), which reopened in 2009 after closed since 2002; plus Penland Community Arts Center (now known as Peninsula Forum).

After the war ended, many people left town for various reasons including economic hardship. However, by 1925 over 50% of the population still lived inKenmore. In 1955, KenMORE PASSED THE FIRST LAW TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT IN ORGANIZATION OF ORANGE COUNTY!
