In November of 1902, Rock Springs, Wyoming had its first shooting target holder. The purpose of the target holder was to help shooters learn how to hit targets.

Shooting target holders are an essential part of any firearms enthusiast's toolkit. They allow shooters to hold their targets more easily and shoot accurately from a distance. There are many different types of shooting target holders available, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The most common type of shooting target holder is the standard tripod-mounted holder. This type of Holder is simple to use, but it does not provide enough stability for high-power shots. It is also bulky and difficult to move around without taking down the whole holdspring assembly. Another popular type of Shooting Target Holder is the dogleg mount. This type of Holder has two legs that rotate 360 degrees to adjust your shot position. These Holders are perfect for low-power shootings or when you want to shoot multiple targets at once. However, they do not provide as much stability as a tripod holders, so they may not be suitable for high power shots or larger diameter targets. Finally, there is the Vented Shooter Holder. This type of Holder features a built in ventilated chamber that helps keep your targets cool during long range shoots. However, these Holders are more expensive than other types and require special care when setting up your shooting environment - make sure you have plenty of ventilation if using this kind of Holder on a bright day!

There are several shooting target holders in Rock Springs, Wyoming that have been used over the years. One of the earliest shooting target holders was built by John McMahon in 1875. It consisted of a post with a hole drilled in it, and two circles painted on either side. The targets were attached to the post with ropes.

Rock Springs is a town in Wyoming, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Logan County. The townsite at the confluence of the Rock and Laramie Rivers was first settled by Mormons in 1847. The site of present-day Rock Springs was chosen for its strategic location on high ground overlooking both rivers and their valleys, providing an ideal spot to defend against Indian attacks. A post office was established at Rock Springs in 1849, and a school was built in 1850. In 1861, when Washakie County was created from part of Logan County, Rock Springs became the county seat. A store and mill were constructed soon after the opening of the railroad to serve Rock Springs residents with goods brought overland from Cheyenne and other points east. From this early development sprang many local businesses that continue to support today's community: banks (Oneida Bank & Trust Company was founded here in 1865), insurance companies (Alta Mutual Insurance Company erected a building on Main Street in 1903), grocery stores (Mormon Mill Grocery Company opened its doors here in 1902), schools (Rock Spring School District No. 1) and churches (First Presbyterian Church). By 1920 there were several department stores as well as restaurants, movie theaters and other businesses serving the townspeople; today most activities take place within or near one of two downtown business districts anchored by cultural attractions including The Rocks Theater/Galleries, which stages live acts nightly during summer months and features original art installations year-round; also nearby are three historic hotels - The Palace Hotel (1927), The Regency Hotel (1929) and Mountaineers Inn & Conference Center - all operated as bed-and-breakfast establishments until recent years while still retaining some commercial services In earlier days much livestock raising occurred within surrounding ranching country but since fences have been erected around much of this land it has now become more difficult for these operations although some remnant cow pastures remain

There are many different types of shooting target holders available on the market today. It can be difficult to determine which type is best for you, as there are a variety of factors to consider when purchasing a target holder. One common type of Shooting Target Holder is the metal plate that hangs from a wall or tree. These devices are typically used by shooters who want to hold their targets close to their faces so they can accurately shoot them. The plates come in many different shapes and sizes, and can be mounted on a number of different surfaces. Another popular type of Shooting Target Holder is the plastic version that hangs from a hook or post. This type of holder is ideal for shooters who want to keep their targets close at hand but don't want to use any extra space in their room. The Plastic Target Holder often comes with two mounting posts that allow it to be attached directly onto a wall or tree. The final type of Shooting Target Holder is the stand-alone device. This type of holder doesn't require any additional hardware or mounts to be placed around your room, making it perfect for shooters who just want to store their targets somewhere safe and out of reach! Stand-alone Targets Holders usually come in either black or white, and are designed specifically for holding paper target rests.

The target holders history can be traced back to the 1800s. Target holders were used by rifle enthusiasts to hold and aim their firearms. These devices were often made of wood or metal, and they had a hole in the middle that allowed shooters to place the gun on top of the holder and pull the trigger.
