Eufaula is a small city in Marshall County, Alabama, United States. The population was 1,569 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Huntsville–Decatur, Alabama Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first white settlers in what is now Eufaula were white men named John and James Pritchard who arrived in 1796 from Kentucky. They built a cabin on the present site of downtown in 1824 and started trading with Indians. They also corn'd their land and raised livestock. In 1830, they married Anna Wilkinson and settled down as farmers. In 1835 they had four children: Samuel (1836-1907), Sarah (1838-1920), Edwin (1840-1925) and Alice (1842-1922). One account says that when Anna died childless in 1840, James Pritchard donated land to build Eufaula's first schoolhouse which he called "Pritchard Hall". In 1845, three Methodist ministers came to town to preach about Christianity's teachings about poverty being one of the main causes of social inequality among classes in America. They preached for two days then left after experiencing strong opposition from locals who thought their preaching would bring crime or disorder to their town. Reverend John Fenton stayed for six weeks before leaving because he did not feel able to answer all of the questions posed by his listeners about how Christianity could help solve social problems in America without causing any more chaos than was already existing. In 1850s two other pastors came to town: Revs Jno Sikes and George Whitfield who both preached for a short time before returning home due to differences with local officials about how best to handle evangelism within the community while still abiding by American laws that restricted religious proselytizing on property owned by non-Christians. Eufaula experienced rapid growth during the early 1800s as cotton became an important crop grown throughout most of southernAlabama due largely to slave labor brought over from Mississippi via Mobile Bayou region between 1795-1800. The original Winchester Model 7 upper receivers utilized a different type of barrel called an "interchangeable gas block." This design allowed users to upgrade or change certain parts without having to replace entire firearms. This innovation led to increased popularity among shooters because it made upgrading or changing parts much easier than previous methods. The second era in which AR 15 Upper Receivers enjoyed significant success was during the late 1990s through early 2000s period known as "the Golden Age". During this time period, manufacturers produced more innovative designs and materials within the confines of traditional construction techniques such as forged aluminum receivers and handguard assembly utilizing M4 style Magazines well into 3rd Generation models (2006+) with associated Scope Rings/Bags etc..
