This range featured five sections with 25 yards each section. The shotguns used at this time were Remington 870s and Winchester Model 1883s. At this range, hunters could shoot deer, bear, turkey, or hogs up to 39 inches tall! In 1916, another new rifle range opened on US-41 just east of downtown Moody. This ranged featured 12 sections with 25 yards each section with an open fire policy allowed! Ammunition used at this time included 3 inch rounds from Winchester Model 1895 rifles and 4 inch rounds from Reeves & Sinclair revolvers! The Depression years caused many businesses in downtown Moody to close their doors however someTarget Holders such as Jack's Bar did not go away but continued operations until after World War II when they folded themselves into other businesses such as Hooters restaurant which still operates today

It is part of the Pensacola-Ferry Pass- jawsboro Micropolitan Statistical Area. Moody was founded in 1868 by John Moody and his family. He named it for Moody's Mood, a trading post on the Chattahoochee River near present day Montgomery. In 1878, Moody donated land to build what would become Moody Academy. The school district that today includes Moody was organized in 1898 and has since grown to include over 100 campuses across Alabama and Florida. Moody is known for its manufacturing industries such as paper products and automobiles. A major employer here are Humble & Co., makers of plastic products; and PPG Industries, an energy company with operations throughout Alabama and Gulf Coast states including Pensacola and Mobile Bayou in Texas, where PPG has two plants producing natural gas liquids (NGLs) from methane flares.

Moody is a small town in Bibb County, Alabama, United States. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Mobile-Troy-Baldwin Metropolitan Statistical Area. Moody was named for James Moody, an American banker who founded the city of Mobile in 1819. The first settlers to Moody were two families from Georgia: the Moultrie and Hartsfield families. In 1827, James Moody purchased land near what is now downtown Moody from Andrew Jackson's father-in-law, John Caddo. The city of Mobile was founded on this land by Moody and his partners John Ladd and Nicholas Biddle in 1829. The name "Moody" may be derived from this purchase or it could be a corruption of "mound". In 1830, James Denny bought some additional land around downtown for $10 per acre (the total amount paid for all property within today's boundaries). This new land became known as North Side Township. In 1840, when Mississippi became a state, Moody township was reorganized into Baldwin County under the act of February 14th of that year - making it one of only two counties in Alabama without a elected sheriff at that time. Baldwin County continued to function largely as an unincorporated county until 1907 when it became part ofMobile County according to law passed by Congress on December 12th that year; Mobile being then Insular District No.-5 within Gulf Coast Jurisdiction pursuant to Article XIII Section 3(a) Of The Constitution Of Alabama On November 2nd 1909 due to an increase in population density caused by railroad development southward along I-565 which crossed through town limits cattle owners began selling their herds into Uniontown (now part of Foley) so that traffic would not stop at local crossings thereby causing more trucks onto I-565 which circles downtown and created problems with infrastructure due to high rates charged for trucking services needed to move goods southward onto I-565; also businesses northbound on Main Street began advertising “No Trucks All Day” effective November 9th 1909 as merchants realized they could make more money off customers who did not need transportation
