Mountain Home, Arkansas is a town of about 25,000 people located in Pulaski County, Arkansas. The population was reported as 28,569 on July 1, 2010. The company manufactured wagons and equipment for western farmers and ranchers until it closed its doors in 1957. Mountain Home also played an important role during World War II as a munitions production center due to its location on the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock. During World War II, over one hundred thousand soldiers were housed here including fifty-seven percent of all aircraft manufacturing plants in the US military because of its proximity to Little Rock Airport and other regional airports across Arkansas

By 1923, Randolph had fallen victim to economic recession and its population decreased significantly until it ceased operations altogether in 1930.
