In 1920, the business closed down and all assets were sold off to Aiken Arms Company which continued producing Colt handguns until 1953. The third Holster company to come into existence in Siloam Springs was Hickory Knives Incorporated. Hickory Knives made holsters for various 1911 weapons from 1959-1965. Additionally, they producedholsters for Beretta handguns between 1967 and 1978 when these companies merged into Italian handgun producer Giannini SA Ltd.. In 1978, Hickory Knives became known as “Hickory Outdoors” based upon their production of shotguns and rifles outside of town limits (i.e., out near Little Rock). In 1995, Hickory Outdoors merged with Ithaca Sportswear Group LLC to form Ithaca Holster Corporation which still manufactures 1911/45 firearms today! In recent years there has been a resurgence of interest in holstermaking within Siloam Springs due to increased awareness about firearm safety concerns such as gun accidents and mass shootings across the country (particularly those located within urban areas). Siloam Springs, Arkansas is a small town located in the central part of the state of Arkansas. The population was 1,552 at the 2010 census. Siloam Springs is one of two towns in Pulaski County and is also home to Springdale, an incorporated city with a population of over 50,000 people. The name "Siloam" comes from a creek that flows through the town. The first settlers in this area were farmers who arrived around 1818. A post office was established here in 1825 and it remained in operation until 1907. The first settler to come out with irrigation equipment was Captain John Fenton, who built a dam on the White River in 1876. By 1880, there were over seventy families living here and agriculture became the mainstay of the town's economy. The1900 Census counted ninety-six residents in Siloam Springs. This number increased to 201 by 1910 due to arrivals from other parts of Arkansas and Tennessee as well as during World War I when many citizens enlisted for military service because they could not find work elsewhere. During World War II, many residents served in the United States Army or Navy and some even worked on aircraft production sites near Bald Eagle Air Force Base during that time period. When Siloam Springs was platted as a town it had just six dwellings – four buildings on Main Street and two stores on Park Avenue – but within five years it had grown to thirty-eight homes with businesses ranged from grocery stores to printing shops/. In 1916–17 local voters approved annexation by Springdale which at that time had a population of 506 people inhabitants (the current population is 1,552). At this point both towns experienced rapid growth which continues into present day with both communities expanding rapidly onto their adjacent rural areas making for easy access to education and jobs opportunities outside their respective cores while still sticking together politically despite having different namesakes (Springdale has since annexed more neighboring villages including West Limestone Village which makes up its eastern border).

In 1881, Siloam Springs was incorporation into Pulaski County and began to grow rapidly as a farming community. In 1930, the city hall and most of the commercial buildings were destroyed by fire. The town quickly rebuilt and continued to grow until its demolition in the 1960s.
