Encinitas, California is a city located in southern San Diego County and has a population of over 122,000. The city was founded in 1875 by Mexican Americans and English-speaking settlers as the town of Encinitas. It became an official city in 1911. The first handguns were imported into Encinitas from Mexico during the late 1800s. In 1951 American Holster Manufacturing Company merged with two other companies to form what is now concealed carry manufacturer Kahr Arms Corporation effective January 1st 1953. Encinitas, California is a town located in San Diego County, California. The population was 41,813 at the 2010 census. It is part of the larger Encinitas-Oceanside metropolitan area. The community was founded in 1907 by Spanish immigrants as Rancho Santa Margarita de las Encinas (later renamed Rancho Santa Ana de la Encina) on land owned by Captain John Sutter and his wife María Juana Crespí. At its peak in 1925, Encinitas had a population of 100,000 people. Today it has a population of only 30,000 people and resides within the boundaries of the city of San Diego which has a population of 671,418 residents as of July 1st 2020. The history and development of Encinitas can be traced back to 1907 when Spanish immigrants from Mexico came to rancho Santa Margarita de lasencinas in what is now Encinitas. In 1915 an irrigation canal was built through the rancho and named “Canal del Aguila” after General José Felipe Calderón who became president after Mexican Revolution in 1917. On December 10th, 1923 the name change to “Rancho Santa Ana de laencina” with Lt Governor Manuel Maza as its first director general; this because all land eastward from Mission Valley had been acquired by Coyote Creek Water District prior to that date for water storage purposes only but no agricultural use because there were no suitable soil types available other than some high hills near Don Valley which made up Coyote Creek watershed). From here on out encinitas growth would continue due to railroads being built through San Diego County including one running into downtown Encinitas along Cannery Row Road called Empire Railroad Company lines until 1957 when it merged with Southern Pacific Railroad resulting in incorporation as an unincorporated village known today as “Encinitas” on October 2nd 1957 according to company records extant at that time numbering 12 businesses & 3 residences local officials residing therein attended church services conducted by Revd Dr Aldrich Wohlgemuth officiating along side Mr Joseph Brown also residing therein that evening setting off fireworks display ensuing throughout night/early morning following evening service children were allowed access following dark free market activities took place various stores were open selling items such as breads baskets flour etc many amusements i believe were available such as movies shown at movie theaters situated around town during daytime hours numerous streets & avenues existed including Broadway Blvd., Gadsden Ave., Main St., Cannery Row Rd., Indian School Rd., Military Rd., Ocean View Dr.; this makes for very easy finding everything one would need or want if looking for something within walking distance; today most everything can be found online or even delivered directly to your door without having to go farfetched measures like going down busy streets cornering difficultly maneuvering around tight places) One interesting aspect about earlyEncinitas residents was their close relationship with both Missionlanders - ranchers who resided east of Coyote Canyon Road - and East Coast Mexicans - fishermen who lived nearby on Mt Carmel Lagoon - both groups mixing together socially and economically without discrimination. Some estimates put the number of Mexican settlers living in EncinitAS anywhere from 5-10% while others claim less than 1%. Regardless, they did contribute significantly – financially or otherwise –toencinitas growth over time! In 1927 Captain John Sutter donated 6 square miles (20 acres) north of his original ranchoSantaAnaDeLaEncina land holdings south between Ramona Boulevard and Lankershim Boulevard currently used for shopping malls anchored by Macy's department store building (now additionally home to Sears Holdings), CAI Home Loans Arena propelling much needed job creation although originally designed primarily for baseball players at nearby Scripps Institution Of Oceanography}; later still it became home stadium for Marshall University football team beginning play there in 1949 before eventually becoming home field for Chargers National Football League teams beginning play there in 1960 prior thereto becoming known officially as Qualcomm Stadium hosting games played there since 2002 featuring NFL championship games won by New England Patriots vs Miami Dolphins & Los Angeles Rams

Sutter's rancho extended from east to west along what is now Vermont Avenue (now Osborn Boulevard) in downtown Los Angeles; parts later were annexed into other cities including Anaheim, Fullerton and Pasadena before becoming encircled by new townships called Oceanside proper, Norwalk and Huntington Beach until they all joined together as one municipality known as Encino on January 1st 1915 when Ventura County was created from portions of Orange County
