The history of firearms in Folsom, California can be traced back to the early 1800s. At that time, the area was a part of Mexico and weapons were made illegally with little regulation. Unfortunately for the people of Folsom, this led to many gun-related accidents and fatalities. One such individual who had a hand in helping to develop this Firearms culture in Folsom is John Moses Browning. Browning was born in 1852 and spent his childhood living near Springfield, Massachusetts. When he was 14 years old, Browning moved to San Francisco where he began working as asmith on streetcars. He met Wm. Copley at this time and together they founded the Browning Rifle Co., which would become one of the most successful firearm manufacturers in America during the 19th century. In 1892, John Moses Browning married Clara Barton and together they continued developing their firearms business until her death in 1907. It’s safe to say that Clara Barton played an important role both professionally and personally in helping shape firearms culture within Folsom – she is considered one of its most influential figures!

In Folsom, California, the first gun store opened in 1868. The Store was located on Main Street and became known as the Folsom Gun Shop. In 1897, the shop was moved to its present location on State Street. The store continued to be a commercial firearms retailer until it closed in 1986.
Folsom is a city in Sacramento County, California. The population was 362 at the 2010 census. Folsom is located on the banks of the Feather River and its namesake river, which forms part of the eastern border of Sacramento County. The City was founded in 1854 as part of the Rancho Sacramento subdivision. It incorporated as a city on February 14, 1923. In 1960, it annexed parts of Carver and Yolo Counties to become a consolidated city with a total population of 712. The population has increased gradually since then to 2,834 as of 2018. Folsom’s rich history goes back to 1854 when James Folsom leased land from José Joaquín Balboa for an irrigation project that would later be known as Folsom Dam. Today’s downtown district was built around this early infrastructure project and portions of neighboring cities such as Carver and Yolo were annexed into Folsom during the late 1800s and early 1900s when railroad growth made these areas more convenient for businesses. In 1920, local citizens voted to name their new city after Lieutenant Colonel Edwin Ayer Hahn who had served in World War I and later became Director of Public Works under Governor Hiram Johnson. George Naylor took over as Mayoralty when Hahn resigned due to health problems in 1925; he remained until his death on November 25, 1928 only three months after taking office because he had contracted pneumonia while traveling through New Mexico on official business! On December 1st 1924 vote by City Council ratified naming change from Riverside to Folsom with initial population estimated at 350 people! On October 5th 1933 fire destroyed most all but two buildings within the historic nucleus (the old Post Office building) within one day – an event still commemorated annually by parade down Main Street which passes through today’s Walker Adobe Historic District). This event forever shaped what would become known as “Old Town” or Downtown Folsom – now home to many cultural attractions including Roybal Park Museum & Library, Pioneer Courthouse Plaza Shopping Center & numerous restaurants/bars/cafeterias etc., despite some loss suffered during WWII (eastern neighbor Riley Creek was lost along with much valuable agricultural land) thanks largely to donations from post-war era veterans! By 1945 almost all residential housing in Old Town had been torn down excepting few single family homes which continued to be used for military barracks until they were demolished beginning in 1961 following passage by state legislature creating Vacation Rentals law allowing retired military personnel living off government benefits full occupancy status thereby eliminating any need for demolishing McHugh Homes! As recently as 2002 both museums adjacent thereto (pioneer courthouse plaza shopping center), along with several other businesses re-opened following major renovation costing $105 million dollars; making this one of America's "liveable" downtown districts!!Today there are no active factories located within or near Downtown FolsOM making it one of America's "greenest" destinations - furthermore job opportunities are available throughout most metropolitan areas includingSacramento

On September 12th, 2015, NRA member Paul Revere announced his intention to march from Boston Common to White House with a sign that reads “45 minutes till Parkland school shooting begins” referencing both Parkland shootings which took place two weeks prior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and El Paso County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's mass murder trial where 11 people were killed including 6 children as part of an ammunition deal gone wrong
