This paper will discuss the history of American weapon flashlights. Starting with the first flashlight, these devices were used to help soldiers and law enforcement officers better see in the dark. The first settlers in what would become Lemon Grove were Anglo-Americans who arrived during 1848 from Northern California under contract from Captain John Cranch and his party of Forty Thieves. As early as 1853, there were citrus crops being grown in Lemon Grove and other nearby villages by Protestants from Southern California: Father Francisco García and Brother James McMurtry operated a limekiln at Orchard Road between Eugenio Rancho and Chino Hills before moving to Mono Lake in 1858; Father José Gomez established a mission land grant called Villa del Prado about 25 miles northeast of Lemon Grove on Aug 24, 1861; Manuel Gomez donated 6 sections of Rancho Niguel (now Grant) east of present day First Street to establish Villa de la Rúa de los Olivos; Jóvenes Padres Miguel Aguilar y Escobar built Mission San Fernando Rey de Francia just west of present day Second Street on May 1st 1865; José María Carrillo founded Barranca Valley near present day Third Street in 1863. A number of churches were established in or around Lemon Grove: Mission Dolores (1865), Mission Concepción (1868), Sacred Heart (1875), Immaculate Conception (1877), Baptist Churches School District #1 (1902), United Methodist Church District #2(1907). In 1895, when it became part of Riverside County, Lemon Grove had a post office with ZIP code 91746 but no telephone until 1912 whenPacific Bell erected a line along First Street between Sunrise Canyon Drive andpresent day Second Street serving all incorporated areas within Riverside County including Orange County beyond which service was provided by AT&T until 1984 when that company merged with Time Warner Cable Company . In 1907 garlic began being grown here for commercial purposes starting with Mrs Florence Gittens’s farm out back before becoming an annual production site for Eastman Kodak Company through 1945 (). By 1935 local farmers had abandoned garlic production because of changing markets but continued growing other vegetables such as fruits, nuts and cornmeal as well as growing flowers like lilies () throughout much of this period while using nitrate fertilizers necessary for these activities despite possible health risks associated with high levelsOf arsenic found adjacent to facilities housing large quantitiesof both organicsorganic matter lemons Lemon grove's earliest days can be traced back almost 150 years ago when Protestant missionaries came down from Northern California looking for souls to convert into Christianity. After landing on Angel Island off Long Beach they took up residence near what would become Gardena Boulevard today’s Main St., beginning work on converting some natives into believers among them was Father Francisco García who started operating a lime kiln out back on Orchard Road between Eugenio rancho and Chino Hills At this point only Indians were working blacksmithing services so goods coming into town needed translation into English or Spanish before being sold locally at cost (). This Lime Kiln business led Garcia eventually onto buying large tracts4 square miles inside what would become Victorville proper where he set up his own vineyard & got himself elected headmaster at one point reports say he even schooled future US President Franklin D Roosevelt (). His son offered land adjoining his father’s property didn’t pan out so Garcia moved his operations over to Grant Avenue 3/8 mile further east - still now home today Of course if you circle any street corner within your boundaries you will find evidence OF FRANCISCO GARCIA & HIS LIME KILN! Just walk down either mainstreet frontage past any hardware store (&El Pollo Loco Mexican restaurant) then turn right onto either side ol those stores - you are there! Nowadays most people know us simply as “Lemon Groves” Although we may have lost our original name – Arroyito does carry our name quite often these days due largely to connections we have made thru friends etc... Lemon Grove has experienced many changes throughout its history. In 1887 it was known as “the little town on the hill” because it was located at the top of a hill overlooking parts of downtown Los Angeles which had just been built that year; however since then it has undergone several significant transformations including becoming an incorporated city in 1951 (!), being renamed “Lemon Grove” after George Lemon in 1978 (!), being annexed byLos Angeles County in 1988 (!), experiencing multiple realignments within local government following county mergers throughout most of 1990s (!), becoming part of Simi Hills Regional District following Proposition 15 voters’ approval in 2002 (!), reverting back to its original name upon county annexation in 2010 (!). Today, lemon groves continue to play an important role not only within local government but also nationally due to their contribution both agriculturally and commercially; moreover, they are an important cultural icons within the community which has seen numerous festivals celebrated throughout the years including Peach Faire held every August since 1907 (), Bluebonnet Festival held every May ()and Carousel Days® Every October ().

Lemon Grove was first settled in 1871 by the Garvey family. The name of the town was taken from a grove of lemon trees that stood in the center of town. The first post office was established in 1872, and the town got its first streetlights in 1925. In 1927, Lemon Grove became an incorporated municipality.
