In 1846 when California became part of Mexico City following Mexican Independence, Mendota became part of Stanislaus County but still retains its Spanish name. In 1879 William Fenton established an agricultural cooperative with his brother-in-law John Sutter called Northern California Fruit Packers Association which grew into one of America's largest farm companies with interests in grapes, apples, potatoes, nuts and other crops throughout most of North America including parts of British Columbia. The family made their fortune until 1951 when it was acquired by Consolidated Foods who sold it to Monsanto in 1962 for $US5 billion making them one of the world's leading agrochemical corporations. Today Monsanto continues to be headquartered in MendOTA with over 200 employees worldwide; many working on crops such as Roundup Ready maize varieties used extensively across North America for corn ethanol production

The FN SCAR 15 Rifle Upper Receiver featured a Picatinny rail system which allowed it to be attached to various tactical accessories such as handguards, sights or stocks like those found on traditional AR-15s!

Mendota is a small town located in central California, about 25 miles north of Sacramento. It was founded in 1851 as a mission station on the east side of Mendota Creek. The town was named for Don José Mendoza, who had led an expedition from San Francisco to found the missions at this location in 1834. The first post office opened in Mendota on October 1, 1851. The original store and mill were built near the present day schoolhouse and jail. A sawmill and gristmill were also built in the early years of Mendota's development. In 1865, a wagon road connecting Sacramento and Fortnightly City was constructed through Mendota; this road remains an important artery today. The first church was erected here in 1868; it is now known as Holy Angels Catholic Church. In 1903, mendotas voted to become one of sixteen communities within the newly formed Antelope Valley Unified School District; they have remained part of that district since then. In 1951, when Mendota became part of the new Antelope Valley Unified School District, its only high school closed; however, it reopened as Woodbury High School in 1957 after being merged with nearby Eastvale High School (now Eastvale Union High School). Today, Woodbury continues to serve as the lone high school serving Mendota residents and neighboring communities.

Mendota was founded in 1836 by Jedediah Mendota and his wife, Sachemeta. The Mendota area was part of the Rancho San Francisco grant to Isabella Payne. In 1837, the City of Sacramento was founded on the east side of Sacramento River by General John Sutter and his men.
