In addition to its schools and businesses there are several churches including United Methodist Church (founded in 1865), Presbyterian Church (founded in 1903), Baptist Churches (established 1870), Jehovah's Witnesses (formed 1954), Ukrainian National Congress Hall (1896) and Christ Episcopal Cathedral which opened in 1925 with services held within an amphitheater designed by architect Edward Hirschfeld.. After years of growth and development, however, by 1900 Davie had shrunk to its original size thanks largely to agricultural specialization which led to decline in industry throughout much of Florida during this time period
Davie, Florida is located in the state of Florida and has a population of around 84,000. The city was named after David Davie, a British military officer who fought in the War of 1812.
