Red Dot Sight History in Satellite Beach, Florida began with the purchase of a spotting scope by W.H. Smith in 1938. The first red dot sight was designed by Dr. George Hildebrand and manufactured by Whenham & Sons. This instrument consisted of a large, round mirror on an adjustable tripod that allowed users to line up their target with pinpoint accuracy through magnification of 100x or more. In 1955, the company merged with Bushnell Instruments, which led to the development of Bushnell Red Dot sights and riflescopes. These instruments featured a small red dot sighting window at the base of the lens that was used to align your target with precision when using a rifle or shotgun for hunting or shooting practice. The popularity of red dot sights led to increased production and demand for these devices, which eventually became standard equipment on many American firearms platforms. Today, red dots are still widely used by shooters all over the world and are considered one of the most popular types of firearm sights available today!

Satellite Beach is located in the United States of America and has been a part of that country since it was first settled by Europeans. The area now known as Satellite Beach was first inhabited by the Timucua people, who were said to be hunters and traders from South Florida. In 1664, Englishman John Smith discovered the beach while exploring the Florida Keys and named it after his home town of Sunbury-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, England. It wasn’t until 1837 that a post office was established at Satellite Beach, which served as the primary center for trade between the peninsula and Key West. By 1865, there were also stores and hotels on satellite beach. Ashesbridge Plantation became one of only two white families to own land in what is now Satellite Beach when they purchased it from Spanish settlers in 1868. The family continued to live there until their death in 1907. During World War II, many residents of Satellite Beach worked on military sites throughout North Florida including Clearwater Naval Air Station and Fort Myers Naval Air Station. Many homes still remain standing from these past wars - some dating back to before satellites even began flying! One particular landmark in this history is Clearwater’s “Giraffe Hill” - an observation tower built during World War II specifically for use by Navy pilots flying over Coral Gables during exercises off Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Today, Clearwater doesn't have an active naval base but remains home to many marine corps installations including Marine Corps Base Tampa; Missile Defense Agency's Southern Range; Electric Boat Company's plant near Melbourne; NASA's Kennedy Space Center - all within walking distance of each other! Today, many people visit Satellite Beach because it enjoys a commanding view of both Miami metropolitan areas and nearby Everglades National Park! This location makes it an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing, fishing or just spending time enjoying nature at its best!
