The light grade was for use on small jobs only while the medium grade was for general use on both small jobs and larger projects; while the heavy grade was for high-pressure applications such as welding or machining. The first production Tommy Guns were made with API No 9 synthetic gear grease which lasted up to 10 years without breaking down. However, API discontinued manufacturing Gear Grease due to some unsavory associations it had with Nazi Germany during World War II (API later became known as American Petroleum Institute). In 1951, International Harvester Corporation introduced a new product called ProGear which lasted up to 20 years without breaking down

Thomasville is a small town in central Georgia, about 25 miles (40 km) west of Atlanta. The population was 5,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fulton County metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1827 as a post office and mercantile center on the Chattahoochee River. Its name comes from Thomasville Creek, which drained the area before becoming its own creek. The first white settler in Thomasville was John Pritchard, who arrived in 1829. In 1830, he married Martha Cobb and they began to farm land around their home. In 1839, Thomasville became part of what was then known as Gwinnett County and soon after organized as its own municipality. By 1861, whenAtlanta become an incorporated city, Thomasville had grown to more than 10 square miles (25 km2). Growth continued through the years until 1939 when it lost much of its rural character with the opening of Interstate 85 and Douglas Park Reservoirs east of town. During World War II, Thomasville played an important role in helping produce food for troops stationed on both sides of the war effort: during 1942-1943 alone, production totaled 1 million bushels (3 million pounds) of corn; 350 truckloads (1 million pounds) of vegetables; and 2 million eggs from hogs that were raised on locally owned farms near by. Afterward, many businesses closed down or relocated due to high competition from neighboring cities such as Atlanta or Decatur. However, some local businesses have been successful over time including JB Hi-Fi store which has been open since 1972 and still operates without any major changes despite numerous expansions throughout the years; Sprouts Farmers Market which opened in 1978 adjacent to JB Hi-Fi; Glynn's Bar & Grill which moved into its current location in 2001 opposite Sprouts Farmers Market; Coca Cola Bottling plant built on land previously used by Sprouts Farmers Market that became operational in 2004; and now also includes a Harris Teeter restaurant inside Glynn's Bar & Grill called "CocaCola Corner".

Eventually it was replaced by another British invention - Armstrong Whitworth's Octane Gun Lubricant - which proved more successful in achieving its target market[3]. This innovation allowed firearms manufacturers to produce more consistent products across various countries at a lower cost than previous methods. In America however things started differently. While Armstrong Whitworth's Octane Gun Lubricant enjoyed widespread success in Great Britain before being replaced by Learnsine’s Fluid Lube Company in 1876,[4] American inventor George Stephenson developed an entirely new type of lube which he named "Gunsplash" after himself[5][6]. Gunsplash proved extremely successful with American shooters becoming increasingly reliant on it over traditional oils as ammunition became more expensive and unreliable due to technological advances[7][8]. By 1900 Gunssplash had become one of the most common firearm lubes available,[9] remaining so until relatively recent times when new technology has led to renewed interest in old technologies[10][11].

Thomasville is a small town in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. The population was 2,898 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The name Thomasville comes from the Cherokee word "t'ohsi-yi" meaning "place where corn flourishes." The first settlers in what is now Thomasville were James and Betty Robertson who arrived in 1795 from Scotland. They founded a trading post on the Chattahoochee River and named it Fort George after their Scottish ancestor, Prince George of Edinburgh. In 1819, General Andrew Jackson's army passed through this town on its way to battle with Price at Resaca Creek. As a result of this event, many people in Fort George decided to migrate to Thomsonvilie which then had 4 white families and 1 black family. In 1836, the town site was patented to John Todd & Sons by David Lloyd Garrison for $1,500 cash plus 10 acres (4 ha). todd played an important role in developing agricultural life in Cobb County by founding two cotton plantations: One near his home and one about three miles away near what is now Roswell Park Cemetery. He also built a gristmill on the Chattahoochee River that still stands today (now known as Grifters Mill). In 1830, John Auld purchased land east of downtown from Elijah Alexander for $2 per acre ($40/ha). This property later became part of Druid Hills Golf Club which hosted The Masters golf tournament starting in 1996 until 2003 when it moved to Pembroke Pines because of concerns over noise levels there. One interesting note about Thomasville during this time period is that most citizens were farmers or others who engaged in some form of agriculture or commerce such as blacksmithing or wagonmaking before becoming involved with politics or serving in the military during Reconstruction times following Brown v Board of Education rulings which ended slavery throughout much of America. There are several examples such as Orval Faubus who served as governor from 1955-1958 and became famous for his response to bus boycotts occurring around that time period; Howell Rainey who represented Cobb County as a state legislator from 1915-1920; Allen Ellender who was sheriff from 1933-1941; Roy Barnes who represented Fulton County since 1966; Gerald Ford whose presidency brought about national change with passage of Reorganization Act Amendments #1&2; Bob Dole also representing Arkansas during this time period among other things

Thomasville was founded in 1802 by John Thomas and his family. The town was named after the Battle of Thomasville, which took place on November 17, 1800. In 1815, the town was renamed to Atlanta.
