Derby, Kansas is located in the Midwestern United States. It is the second most populous city in the state of Kansas and it has a population of over 100,000 residents. The town was founded by settlers in 1854. Derby was named after George A. Derby, an American businessman who had a store in Topeka. The first shooting at the local fair took place on July 4, 1854. The townspeople were able to use handguns to shoot paper targets and won their first event with a pistol using only three rounds of ammunition. In 1865, Derby became one of the original six towns incorporated into Wichita County, Kansas. By 1912, they had produced 10 pistols including two models that featured hammers that could be turned to fire multiple rounds at once from either side of the trigger bar (the Model 1912 also featured a magazine release). The company went out of business during World War II but briefly reopened in 1946 before closing again due to lack of demand for their products post-war period

To cock your weapon, you must first push down on both sides of the striker until it's partially hidden under ammunition magazine catch. Then you can fire!
