The demand for these rifles was high, and so Ar15 opened its first store in 1992. Today, Ar15 is a well-recognized name in the firearms industry. The origins of Ar15 can be traced back to 1991 when Wichita businessman Rick Hemsley founded Ar 15 Incorporated. He designed and built his first rifle using components from surplus military rifles he had acquired from friends and family members. The success of this venture led to him opening his second store two years later in Frisco, Texas within walking distance of Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Over time, Ar 15 became known as a leading provider of quality firearms products to consumers nationwide. In 1998, Rick Hemsley passed away suddenly while on vacation in Europe; however, his son Mark continued operations at Ar 15 until 2000 when he took over full ownership after succeeding his father as CEO. During Mark’s tenure at Ar 15 Inc., the company launched several new initiatives such as expanded ammunition availability and innovative product designations such as “udebro” (an acronym for “uddered blowback”) firearms which featured shorter stocks with more protrusion for improved accuracy and handling characteristics). In 2003, Rick Hemsley’s wife Lisa joined him at the helm of Ar 15 Incorporated after working extensively behind the scenes at her husband’s business since its inception. Lisa has been instrumental in developing both customer service efforts as well as marketing Strategies for the company – she remains an active force today within its ranks despite having retired from her day job less than three years ago! The Hutchinson community is located in Johnson County, Kansas, about 25 miles east of Wichita. The population was 2,646 at the 2000 census. The area around Hutchinson was first settled by families from New England in the late 19th century. But during World War II, Hutchinson became a major center for ammunition production because of its location on the fringes of a munitions manufacturing region. But despite these challenges, Hutchinson has managed to maintain strong social traditions and strong ties to its community members. In addition to several businesses that remain active today, local residents have built a number of lasting institutions including the Hutchinson High School (now Hutch), which helped revive the town after years of decline; and Memorial Stadium which serves as home field for both Hutchinsons high school football team and local professional baseball team.

In 1881, the territory of Kansas was organized as a new state. The name honor General James W. Hutchinson, who had been in command of Union forces during the Mexican-American War and subsequent campaigns in the West. The first Territorial Governor, John D. Whyte, selected General Hutchinson to serve as governor and act as an advisor to the new state government on Indian Affairs. General Hutchinson quickly became known for his strong support of American Indian rights and efforts to improve relations with Native Americans. He also led successful campaigns against organized crime in Kansas City and other areas of the state. In 1902, he was again chosen to lead the state government when Governor John D. Ferguson resigned due to ill health. Under General Hutchinson's guidance, Kansas experienced rapid modernization during his time as governor – including increased education opportunities for its citizens, creation of a banking system based on modern principles, and passage of landmark legislation such as the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. After leaving office in 1904, General Hutchinson returned home to live out his remaining years near Topeka until his death at age 91 on May 3, 1925. He is considered one of America's most celebrated Native American leaders and has been honored with numerous awards throughout his life – including a Congressional gold medal and an honorary degree from Harvard University – along with countless community service projects across America related to native issues.]
