Bardstown, Kentucky is a small town located in Hardin County, Kentucky. The population was 1,752 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Hardin County. Bardstown is unincorporated and has no town hall. The first person to settle in Bardstown was James Fenton in 1800. He built a cabin on the banks of the Potomac River. In 1827, Daniel Boone and his party arrived in Bardstown from Virginia and founded a trading post called Fort Boonesborough here. In 1829, John Catton built a sawmill on the riverbank opposite where today's Warrenton Elementary School stands. In 1859, General David Hogg set up headquarters at Fort Hogg for his cavalry brigade during the Mexican-American War. When war ended, he abandoned his position and returned to Louisville until 1850 when he again set up headquarters in Bardstown under orders from Governor James Morehead III of Kentucky. After more than two decades of growth by farmers and traders alike, it wasn't until 1861 that an influx of soldiers led by Major Robert Ewell made its presence known when they burned down Fort Donelson near present day Harlan County line within minutes of arriving there after looting supplies inside that fortification designed to keep Confederate troops bottled up while their commander laid siege to Nashville (now Nashville TN). The garrison had been left without food or munitions as Confederate forces marched southward through central Kentucky en route to Chattanooga TN., leaving behind stockpiles of foodstuff including pork which soon became one of the main attractions for Unionists eager to acquire what they could before retreating back into Tennessee proper with all hands behind them – something which would lead ultimately to much destruction wrought throughout Central Appalachia not long thereafter as Sherman’s army swept through these regions “cleaning out” any remaining rebels/enemies along with whatever meager belongings may have been left behind (See: Shenandoah Valley Campaign) . Here we will discuss some key aspects of bipedalism and how it has impacted our lives. The first evidence for bipedalism was found when Dr. Nicholas-Jacques Conte mapped Africa in 1824. He noted that many animals were able to walk on all fours but could not climb trees because their foot would not grip the bark properly. He hypothesized that these animals had evolved from a species that walked on two legs and then developed into the modern day human! The discovery of bipedality changed forever how humans thought about themselves and their world! It allowed us to see ourselves more objectively and helped us learn about our environment better! While walking on two legs, humans had to use both hands to help stabilize their balance and move around. This made walking difficult and dangerous which led to many accidents! However, due to the discovery of bipedality, people began developing other methods of locomotion such as running and swimming! These new ways of moving were much easier to control and safe than traditional walking methods! In fact, most public transportation today relies heavily on bipedalism – meaning most people ride in cars or buses using both legs!!!

Bardstown, Kentucky is a town in the U.S. state of Kentucky and the county seat of Campbell County. The population was 10,898 at the 2010 census. It is located on the southern edge of the Bluegrass region, about 25 miles (40 km) west of Louisville and about 30 miles (48 km) south-southwest of Lexington. Bardstown is one of several small towns in Campbell County that are included within Louisville metropolitan area. The first human settlement in what would become Bardstown was made by John Caney in 1786 as part of a land grant to Nicholas Goodrich from Lord Baltimore. Goodrich's wife, Elizabeth Caney, bore him three children; two were born here, but they died young andElizabeth moved away before their father could take them home. In 1815, General James Hargrave established Fort Harrison at what is now downtown Bardstown after capturing Mobile Bay from British forces during the War for Independence. The fort served as an arsenal and garrison until it was abandoned in 1827 because advances in transportation made it difficult to keep up with warfare against Native Americans outside of Kentucky. In 1825, David Ritchie founded a tavern called "The White Horse" at what is now downtown Bardstown to serve troops stationed at Fort Harrison during the Mexican–American War. After American victory over Mexico at Palo Alto Bridge on October 14,1846 – which ended Mexican rule over most of California – many soldiers returned home and found work rebuilding Fort Harrison into a military post again became necessary due to increased Indian activity in central Kentucky following Mexico's collapse. On November 12th 1598 by order from President James K." Polk this fort surrendered effective immediately with all its cannons except for four which were taken back to Cincinnati under escort by Colonel George Armstrong Custer during his march through central Ohio across the Great Lakes into Canada on July 4th 1857 On February 16th 1865 Union general Ewell Brown ordered all Confederate troops present at Camp Butler be disarmed and placed under guard while supplies were brought forward for Wilson’s army encamped northwest of Louisville On April 8th 1865 General Robert E.) Lee arrived eastward along US 20 from Richmond via Harpers Ferry At 2:00 PM on April 9th 1865 Confederate general JEB Stuart rode out front gate leading assault force against Federal lines near Monongalia Hill north-east greater Bardstown KY
