However, if you are using any other firearm with an extended magazine (like a rifle), then you will need to remove all of the rounds from the magazine before using it. This is because different firearms have different capacities when they come equipped with magazines. For example, shotguns that hold five rounds typically require three separate removal steps in order to load another round into the chamber; while rifles that hold more than 10 Rounds generally just require one pull back on the bolt carrier/stock in order to release all of those rounds intothe magwell area
There are a few gun magazines that have a long history in the city of St. Matthews, Kentucky. In 1872, the first gun magazine in the city was opened by J.W. Dudley and his son John Dudley Jr. The magazine was called the "Herald" and it published newspapers from December 1, 1872 to October 15, 1875. The first issue of the " Louisville Courier Journal" was published at the Herald's office on Market Street between Division and Elm Streets. In 1907, J.B. Higgins organized a company to produce ammunition for rifles and pistols in St. Matthews. This company became known as Higgins Ammunition Company and continued producing ammunition until 1911 when it merged into National Ammunition Company with other local companies making firearms ammunition including American Armory Manufacturing Co., First National Armory & Machine Shop, Second National Armory & Machine Shop, Third National Armory & Machine Shop etc.). The first handgun magazine in St Matthews was opened by Wm Hynes in 1916 on Main Street between Maple and Front Streets named after him which became known as "The Gunsmith". It published handguns exclusively until 1941 when it merged into NRA Magazine Publishing Corporation with othergun magazines across America which made handguns such as Browning Arms' Sporting Goods Incorporated (now Emerald Ammo), Colt Firearms Corp., Ruger Manufacturing Corporation etc.)

St. Matthews, Kentucky is a small town located in eastern Kentucky, about 20 miles south of the capital, Frankfort. The population was 1,815 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Daviess County and home to the St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church and School District which has student body of over 10,000 students from pre-kindergarten through college level. The first settler in what would become St. Matthews was John Pritchard who arrives in 1786 with his family from Swaledale, England. He built a log cabin on property that now makes up most of downtown St. Matthews. In 1814, General Andrew Jackson appointed Reverend George Washington as pastor of the church and it became known as "Washington's Chapel." The first school in what would become St. Matthews opened its doors in 1815 under instruction from Revs Daniel Boone and Samuel Morse (the father of modern radio). In 1820, Alexander Henderson bought land adjacent to present day downtown for $1 per acre (and set out to build a town). When he died without children to carry on his estate, his wife assumed control of development and named the new town after her late husband's favorite saint - SaintMatthews Parish (now Daviess County) was formally organized on February 17th of that year by Judge James Aiken with a plat dated March 6thof1820/21! Daviess County was established on November 3rd 1830 by Act No 268 “An Act to organize Daviess County” and Citty Name: SaintMatthews Parish Incorporation & Bylaws were filed March 6th 1830 /dated 3/6/1830” Named after one or more saints – primarily Matthew? Voters elected James Aiken as Clerk for this newly formed parish when they met on Feb 17 th 1830 at The Masonic Lodge next door to The Hermitage Tavern where future Governor David Robertson sat down with JB Henson Deputy Clerk First Trustee Ebenezer Brown Second Trustee Elijah Dickson Third Trustee Aiken served until he resigned due to health reasons on Mar 6 th 1830 when Isaac Higgins took his place . On April 12 th 1830 an election was held for Constable which resulted in Liberty Hyde having been elected Boardman
In 1794, the first Christian church in what is now Kentucky was built on the present-day site of St. Matthews. The Rev. John White organized a small group of Baptists in 1796 and began preaching at this church. In 1802, he became the first pastor of Saint Matthews Church and led it until his death in 1857. The congregation grew rapidly and by 1830 there were more than 150 members living at Saint Matthews Church. The original school building was built on the same site as Saint Matthews Church in 1827, and this continued to be used as a parish house until 1938.
