The company became known as "BB Guns America." In 1927, Harry Pryor's son, Bud Pryor, founded the Bud Brown Rifle and Pistol Corporation in Ypsilanti to produce pistols using firearms powder invented by Bud Brown. In 1931, Bud Brown merged with the American Gun Manufacturing Company to form "American Arms & Ammunition Corp."

A post office called Niles was established in 1813, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1912. The first settlers were Dutch with John Pritzker coming from Holland aboard an American vessel called Independence when he landed there with his family on October 15, 1814 as part of a migration led by General Harrison Michigan Territory Surveyor Nicholas Halstedt from New York City to open up land that would later become Wayne County. On December 3, 1829 Wm Harsha Kapp founded what would become known as First United Methodist Church located east of Center Street between Main Street and Cass Avenue; Kapp had lost his mother during childbirth only three weeks prior to her death at home due to scurvy contracted while traveling through central America via Mexico City on their way back home from St Augustine's Cathedral where she officiated at a religious service for those attending Angelus Retreat which took place near Grand Rapids that year including future UAW President George Meany and future Mayor James Knowles among others In 1859 Jno Pritzker founded another church which became known as Second United Methodist Church located west side of Center Street just north of Cass Avenue between Main Street and Spring Streets With its construction nearby other Methodists began moving into Niles seeking religious sanctuary from angry mobs associated with anti-Catholic prejudice across Upper Canada during this time period boiling over into violence erupting throughout Ontario culminating with Sir John Auld's Massacre resulting in more than 350 deaths including women and children being driven out into open fields leaving them unprotected . operations continued until 1870 when all churches were consolidated within one large building erected on East Grand Boulevard adjacent to State Farm Arena across from Highland Park Cemetery . services continue today inside First United Methodist Church south wing
