Plymouth is a small town in the state of Minnesota, located about 25 miles north of Minneapolis. The population was 1,871 at the 2010 census. Plymouth is the only municipality in the Minnehaha County seat of Plymouth and it forms part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. The first gun safe built in Plymouth was erected by Elisha Halsey in 1836. It was made from wood and had two doors on either side with a keyhole cut into one door for entry. The safe held six guns, two pistols, four shotguns, and four rifles. It was used as a home defence tool until around 1920 when guns were outlawed in Minnesota. In 1932, Halsey donated his estate to Plymouth for use as a city hall; it still stands today within the core boundaries of Plymouth. When Prohibition ended in 1933, many businesses closed down due to lack of customers or prohibition taxes that had to be paid by these businesses; however some people continued to operate illegal speakeasies until 1942 when production stopped entirely due to regulations set by President Franklin D Roosevelt during World War II based on his belief that open alcohol consumption would lead to social unrest which could then be used against America's enemies such as Nazi Germany

In 2007, E&P Bakken Partners LP sold their interest in the well to Enbridge Incorporated for $2 billion dollars; this gave Enbridge control over both production and distribution rights for crude oil produced by The Well of Life. In 2009, HPE Corporation announced that they would be moving their headquarters from Omaha, Nebraska to Plymouth; however no action was taken until after Thanksgiving when it was learned that they would not renew their lease because management felt that the relocation would have negative effects on community morale due to changes made at HPE's parent companyComcast Corporation related to its divestiture of NBCUniversal (a unit of Comcast). In 2011-12 there were plans by Apple Incorporated (owner of a large parcel contiguous with Plymouth) to build an office campus adjacent to Highway 61 but those plans ran into opposition from local residents who feared development would create more traffic congestion around town than necessary while also stressing environmental impact givenApple's corporate history concerning environmentalism
