Gun magazines are a long and proud history in Grandview, Missouri. The first gun magazine in the town was established in 1876 by a group of farmers. It was called the Rifleman and was located on State Street. From that time until 1912, the local paper published an annual report entitled “The Rifleman’s Journal.” In 1912, rifleman merged into the Missouri Republican Party and ceased publication. Beginning in 1922, the magazine was published as The Gunrunner. NRA member Bob Smith founded The Gun Runner in 1978 as a monthly tabloid-style magazine designed to promote Second Amendment rights throughout Missouri.

Grandview, Missouri is a small town in the western United States. The population was 2,711 at the 2000 census. It is located in Clay County. The first Europeans to live in what is now Grandview were French traders and missionaries who arrived in 1764. The first settler was Captain John Pope who built a cabin on the banks of the Arkansas River.Pope's cabin was replaced by the current structure in 1835. Most of what is now Grandview was laid out as part of an Indian Treaty made between Shawnee and European settlers in 1806-1807. The treaty stated that all land east of the Mississippi River would be given to Native Americans, with exceptions for property near present-day Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania which would become part of West Virginia after ratification by Congress. In 1821, Grandview became a stop on stagecoach routes between Springfield and Topeka. By 1830, it had become one of five settlements along Stagecoach Road (now I-70) where wagon trains stopped en route to Lawrence, Kansas Territory. At that time there were no stores or services available beyond these stops so travelers needed to cook their meals and take care of their luggage while waiting for their next stop or journey onward. A post office operated from 1836 until 1937; during this time it had only six residents served per month due to lack of space inside the makeshift building constructed by local farmers using straw bales as flooring and logs for walls and roofing In 1886 when Grange No 3 Cemetery opened west of town limits it became necessary for buyers within walking distance (or less than one mile)to provide burial plots free or at very low prices to new residents/company directors/etc... Over time many residents died without leaving any descendants behind so cemetery lots continue to sell at auctions today

The company quickly began producing high-quality rifles that continued to be popular throughout the 20th century. In 1911, Winchester produced their first self-loading shotgun, the Model 1890. This shotgun was designed as an all-purpose firearm and became very popular among hunters and police officers alike.
In the early 1800s, Grandview was a small town in northwestern Missouri. It was located on the banks of the Arkansas River and consisted of only a few homes. In 1819, when Grandview was founded, it became one of the first towns in what would become Kansas Territory. The town prospered because it had access to good land and easy transportation. Over time, Grandview grew into a sizable community with more than 100 residents. The town's prosperity continued until the late 1800s when growing tensions between Kansas Territorial settlers and Native Americans led to violence and chaos in the area. By 1854, most of Grandview had been destroyed by fire or settler mobs. Only a handful of homes remain today, including those belonging to current Mayor Marty Koppelman and Deputy Mayor Becky Haggerty. Grandview is significant for two reasons: First, it was one of the first communities in what would become Kansas Territory; second, its history is reflective of many similar communities that flourished during that time period across much of America. For example, many early settlers coming to Kansas were looking for land that could be used for farming and grazing purposes rather than being developed into cities or towns likegrand view did. As a result, many small settlements quickly emerged along these western rivers as farmers began building their homes on high ground overlooking irrigation canals or open water systems."
Grandview, Missouri was a community in Clay County, Missouri, United States. It was founded in 1855 by General John P. Smith and his wife Annabella. The community was named for Grandview Hill, which is located in Springfield Township.
