Make sure you take into account what magnification your particularscope has when choosing which object to look at. 3) Be patient: Now that you know what types of objectives work best with your specific telescope, it’s time to get started looking at targets! There is no one answer to the question of what makes Raytown so special. While many factors could contribute, including its history and architecture, the town’s unique flavor can be traced back to its founder, Dr. James K. Polk. Dr. Polk was born in 1842 in Missouri and moved to Raytown in 1861 after serving as a physician in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He began his medical career at a small hospital near Raytown and soon developed an interest in agriculturalry. In 1876, he founded the first regional grocery store in Missouri and became known for his innovative methods of marketing food products-including the use of hawthorn boughs to attract insects into stores. Dr. Polk’s legacy has been continued by his heirs and descendants, who continue to operate the business today with similar innovation and sustainability practices. The town is home to a number of cultural institutions, such as the University of Arkansas Razorbacks football team’s Training Facility (formerly Dr. Polk Stadium), which opened in 2003; Pioneer Museum; and Pinchot National Forest – which offers hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, boating & biking opportunities throughout the year
