The village of North Braintree had until recently been served by two separate schools: North Braintree Academy for gradeschoolers through eighth grade and South Foxcroft Elementary School which serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade; both schools closed their doors at the end of September 2009 due to financial difficulties caused by consistent low enrollment rates across all age groups despite dramatic increases in tuition prices associated with annexing neighboring towns into city status during that time period. There have been several efforts over recent years by interested parties to purchase or lease either school site or adjacent property situated between South Foxcroft Road and Interstate 93 so that they may reopen as one consolidated school district under the name "North Braintree Schools". However no agreement has yet been reacheduate making this possible goal largely impossible at this time

According to the United States Census Bureau, Concord, New Hampshire has a total area of , of which is land and (1.9%) is water. The town was founded in 1795 by Congregationalists who desired to keep their religious beliefs separate from others in the town. In 1812, it was renamed for King George III after the Battle of Saratoga. Concord's population peaked at 20,000 in 1930 then declined as many residents moved away during World War II and post-war economic recession. However, over the past decade or so, Concord's population has begun to grow again as newcomers have discover its small town feel and diverse attractions. Today, Concord is an important center for trade and commerce in eastern New Hampshire and its role as a bedroom community for Manchester makes it an attractive place to live along with its small-town atmosphere. Concord's history begins with Congregationalist settlers who arrived there in 1795 looking for a place where they could practice their religion separately from other Puritans living in nearby towns such as Grantham and Newton. The first Congregationalist church was built on Meeting Street near what is now Cross streets in 1796. It remained operational until 1830 when it burned down due to firewood shortages caused by wars between Great Britain and America. The second church was built on State Street across from what is now Elm Street in 1832; this church served until 1870 when it also burned down due to firewood shortages caused by wars between Great Britain and America agains France). The third church was constructed on Milk Street across from what is now White House Road around 1840 but it also burned down within six months of opening because of lack of funds/support from local leaders. The fourth church – located on High Street east of present day Elm Street – opened up shop on October 26th, 1850 with Reverend John Henton officiating services conducted by Rev Edward Peck . Reverend Henton had come from Boston where he had been pastor at Pentecostal Church before becoming pastor at East Stroudsburg Bible Chapel before arriving in Concord.. With only three churches open up at that time there wasn't much evangelism going on so Reverend Henton started preaching door-to-door instead starting baptisms himself instead which proved successful so he decided to open his own schoolhouse which became known as “Hendricks” Schoolhouse after him & Rev Samuel Hendricks one of his students later became state Senator from NH
In 1778, the area that is now Concord was part of the Massachusetts Colony. The area was first settled by English colonists in 1620. In 1778, the town of Concord was founded as a result of a land grant from King George III. The town quickly grew and became an important center for trade and industry. By 1851, Concord had reached its peak as a commercial and industrial center. However, during the late 19th century, much of Concord's economy collapsed due to Increasing population density and technological advances. Today, Concord is a small community with few businesses or industries active within it.
