The first binoculars were made out of glass and metalurgy was not possible at that time so a wooden box was filled with a clear lens onto which cloth or paper could be affixed to magnify the image. The magnification would then be adjusted using a rocker on the side of the box. One innovation early binocular manufacturers used was an adjustable focuser which allowed for different distances backup without having to adjust each individual lens individually. With advances in technology came also new types of optics such as water droplets based microscopes and high-power eyepieces which allowed people to see things that they couldn’t before. By 1800, people had started using binoculars for hunting big game such as deer, bear and turkey! Despite this popularity there were some challenges that prohibitionism posed during these years when it became illegal to own any firearms larger than pistols (or revolvers). This led some entrepreneurs who ventured into optical business such as Binoccular Company founders Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail while others simply turned their attention towards other endeavors such as engineering or politics within states like New Hampshire where gun ownership remained unrestricted until 1903. Nashua, NH is a town in New Hampshire located on the Nashua River. The population was 9,519 at the 2010 census. Nashua is the county seat of Hancock County. It is also home to The University of New Hampshire and the Nashua Mall. The first known inhabitants of what is now Nashua were the Algonquian-speaking Piscataqua Indians who fled from an area that was being explored by English colonists in 1614. After a while, other indigenous cultures began to arrive as well; these included the Miwok people in 1637 and 1769, and then again in 1802 by General George Washington when he arrived as commander-in-chief of American forces stationed in Boston. In 1795, during King George III's War with France, British General John Burgoyne moved his army upriver from Portsmouth along the river's edge to take position on fortified hills above present day Nashua. In response to this move and because of French efforts to trade with Native Americans nearpresentdayManchester, British troops burned down several villages along both sides of the Nashua River before finally pushing southward around late December 1795 towards Halifax where they encamped for winter under command of Major General Thomas Gage. The next year saw increased French activity due to news that General Howe had been successful in routing his French opponent at Saratoga and invaded Canada; this led to increased hostilities between Great Britain and France throughout much of 1801 including what became known as The Indian Wars (the term "Indian" being applied only retrospectively). At some point after Burgoyne's surrender at Yorktown on October 19th, 1807 all but 10 Native American warriors remaining among his 3rd Infantry Brigade surrendered unconditionally without a fight – their leader Chief Joseph having escaped earlier that day into Vermont with about 30 followers disguised as traders/missionaries under cover of darkness. This event is usually considered marking the end definitively of warfare between Great Britain and France over North America although there continued skirmishes for many years until finally peace was restored by Emperor Napoleon I in 1815 following his defeat at Waterloo which ended all major European wars except those fought within Russia).
