Please note: This guide is not meant to replace the need for professional care when cleaning your firearms; however, it may be helpful in getting the most out of your firearms while in use. Before beginning any gun cleaning job, make sure all your tools are available and ready. These include a plunger (or similar type of tool), bucket or spray bottle filled with water, rag or cloths for wiping down surfaces, Shooter's Friend cleaner (if using airguns), and any needed oil or grease products. When working on rifles or shotguns, always hold the barrel at an angle so as not to touch the bore-head directly. Never place anything between the barrel and magazine - this will cause persistent problems with feeding accuracy and potential damage to adjacent parts of the rifle/ Shotgun respectively. Bucket method: Fill bucket with warm water then pour over object desired cleaned (e.g., barrel). Squeeze plunger over object until suction holds; do not use too much pressure as this will cause debris to fall off top which could create further problems later on. Gently work plunger around object until all liquid has been displaced including any dirt or residue left behind by previous users; be gradual as some areas may still require more attention than others! Be prepared also to make several quick trips throughout entire bucket in order to get everything clean! Repeat steps if necessary! pistol barrels: 1) Pour buckets of hot water onto affected area(s).2) Place rag over affected area(s).3) Squeeze Shooter's Friend onto rag surface then pull up excess material from top of rag before placing back down into Bucket(s).4) Put Guns Barrel back into play by reinserting handgrenade rod into breech caused by firing operation... 5) Wait until next session occurs before continuing cleanup
