Gun chokes are a type of choke that is used to keep firearms from operating. They were invented by Major John Guttenberg in Guttenberg, New Jersey in the early 1800s. Gun chokes are made out of different materials and can be placed around the muzzle of a firearm to create different openings for air to enter and prevent it from firing.
There are many types of gun chokes. A few examples include: magazine chokes, trigger chokes, and barrel-mounted choke devices. Magazine chokes are the most common type of gun choke. They are a type of retention device that holds the rounds in the firearm by attaching to the barrel using a threaded insert. It is important to note that magazine chokes should not be used on guns with lever action rifles or shotguns as they will not work properly. Trigger chokes are also known as disconnectors and can be found on pistols, revolvers, and rifles. They function by forcing theACTION REVOLVER or RIFLE to fire when you pull the handle back slowly; this is usually done before you try to cock it again. Trigger choking can also be used for self-defense purposes if your assailant has taken away your ability to fire your weapon effectively (by disabling your firing pin). B Barrel-mounted choke devices are similar to trigger choked firearms but instead of a threaded insert into the barrel, these devices use an air/fuel mixturepipe connected directly to the muzzle brake(s) on top of the rifle or shotgun barrel[1]. This type of choke allows for more control over how tightly each round is held in respect to other rounds in the chamber and helps prevent dangerous single shot fires due to gas fouling around both barrels caused by powder gases detonating prematurely inside each cartridge case after being fired from both barrels simultaneously[2].
Gun chokes were a common means of stopping gunfire in the early days of the United States. They were also used as methods of controlling prisoners.
Guttenberg is a city in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 5,468 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Guttenberg was founded in 1796 by Johann Guttenberg and his family as a small town on the Delaware River near where he himself had been born two years earlier. In 1814, Guttenberg became the seat of Mercer County, New Jersey when Township No. 1 was organized from portions of Huntingdon and West Camden townships. The township now includes all of eastern Mercer County except for portions of Upper Merion Township and Sayreville Heights Borough in southwestern Monmouth County. In 1838 Guttenberg became the first municipality in New Jersey to be incorporated with a population over 1,000 residents (the only other such municipality at that time being Perth Amboy), when it annexed part of Middlesex Township to form its new entity. In 1870, following the creation of Essex County along with parts of Union and Morris Counties to the north and west respectively, Guttenberg annexed all but one portion of Middlesex Township which remained within what is now Mercer County - including Rahway and Woodbridge - forming what is now known as "The Greenbelt." The annexation formalized an earlier agreement between Johann Guttenberg (then owner/manager of both Rahway's river lockyards and local ferry landing) and John Drexel (then president – later founder –of Philadelphia's first white-owned printing press) whereby each would provide land for each other's businesses on both sides of the Delaware River. Guttenberg soon grew into one of northeastern Pennsylvania's most important cities due to its location convenient to various transportation arteries: The Susquehanna Railroad leading southward through Lackawanna Valley; Route 22 connecting Princeton Junction with Philadelphia; Route 119 running east-west through central Pennsylania; while also accessible via ferries across the river from Center City Philadelphia proper (thus becoming a hub for trade within western Pennsylvania). By 1840 guttersnipes were still prevalent throughout much of downtown #GutTenborough# although they gradually began disappearing during Victorian times until they were completely replaced by sewer systems during prohibition era [1936-1945] During World War II many thousands people who worked in munitions plants located around or near Guttenberg took flight en masse out into surrounding towns like Hazleton or Doylestown due to bombing raids that destroyed vast areas inside Philly including homes, schools etc... Although some returned home after liberation but majority chose not to return because there was no guarantee their families would be safe or Invaders would leave them alone again without fear thereof returns have not been made since 1945

In 1814, Guttenberg was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. In 1838, it became a city after being granted statehood by an act of the New Jersey Constitution. On April 15, 1915, Guttenberg became one of thirty-six municipalities comprising the Camden-Newark metropolitan area pursuant to an act passed by both houses of the New Jersey legislature on March 29 that created that region. Guttenberg was founded in 1795 by Peter Guttenberg and his wife, Anna. The Guttenberg family operated a successful farm until 1870 when they sold it to the United States government for $5,000. In 1916, the Guttenbergs donated land to create the first university in New Jersey. The school is now part of Princeton University.
