Other attractions include: Kings Landing Battlefield State Park where battles between British settlers and Native Americans occurred; defunct millinery shop located on Meeting Street; Beauxbatons Female Institute located on Market Street; First Presbyterian Church located on Hwy 12 south; Rutherford House Museum which contains artifacts from local pioneer families; former Fire Department station located at 9th Ave N.;and numerous other historical landmarks
