When Wake Forest University students first started selling firearms t-shirts in the early 1990s, they had no idea that their product would become so popular. At the time, there was only a small population of gun owners in North Carolina and few if any firearms manufacturers. The university’s Shooting Sports Club (SCC) offered memberships to those who could shoot “munitions Grade A” at local firing ranges. As shooters increased their skills and changed their preferences, the demand for high-quality NRA-certified clothing became evident. The popularity of firearm t-shirts continued to grow through the years and today it is one of the most popular collegiate recruiting tools for Wake Forest students. Many departments at Wake Forest offer rifle/shotgun/pistol training opportunities as well, so anyone interested in becoming a shooting expert can join forces with some of America’s top institutions!

Not only do they make a great conversation starter, but they also show off your love of the hobby in an official way. There are so many different types and styles of firearm shirts available on the market today, it's hard to determine which one would be best suited for you. However, here are five tips to help you choose the perfect shirt: 1) Look at the patterning and design. Make sure the shirt has either a traditional or modern look and feel. Some shirts have straight lines and others have curves. You want something that will fit comfortably and look professional when wearing it out-to-work or out at a shootin'. 2) Consider what size you need. A big guy might prefer something larger than an XL because he likes his firearms comfortable to wear all day long, while a small person might prefer something smaller than an XXL because he doesn't own as many firearms. 3) Research what material is used in the shirt itself- most shirts these days are made from polyester (a synthetic fabric), so be sure to check whether that's okay for you before ordering! 4) Check sizing carefully before ordering any other items- some manufacturers adjust their sizes automatically based on how often their products are sold, so don't order anything too large until you've tried it on and found that it fits perfectly! 5) Be sure to alter any measurements if needed- if someone is 6'2" tall and wears a medium, they may need to order a Large shirt instead! There's no harm in trying on several different designs before settling on one as long as everything fits correctly! Once you've chosen your favorite firearm shirt, go ahead and start putting them away in your wardrobe!

One of the earliest firearm t-shirt companies was Joe’s Gunsmith Shop, which was started in 1883. This company manufactured a variety of Firearms related items such as gunsights, stocks and parts for rifles and pistols. In 1934, Joe’s Gunsmith Shop merged with another firearms manufacturer named Colt & Co., which led to the beginning of the modern era for firearm t-shirt design.

Wake Forest University is a private, research-intensive university located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The school was founded in 1892 by Episcopal clergyman and educator Reverend James M. Wake and his wife Eliza Jenkins. Today, Wake Forest offers undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, business, health sciences, law, information technology, divinity and religious studies, education and social work. The university has a total student population of 24,788 as of Fall 2016. The history of Wake Forest University begins with the founding of James M. Wake’s evangelical church on Haughton Street in Winston Salem in 1892. wakeforestuniversity@wakeforest.edu The first students enrolled at WFU were Presbyterian missionaries from Scotland who had just arrived in North Carolina to help build up the new community of Winston Salem after the Civil War ended without any winners or losers on either side achieving national standing or political power for their respective nations (Ferguson 1995). Soon after the church’s founding Reverend James M. Wake became involved with helping to found what would become Wake Forest University – an institution that would soon become one of the most prestigious colleges in America (Ferguson 1995). In 1896 Reverend James M. Wake married Eliza Jenkins who also helped to Founded WFU; together they raised four children: Rebeccah J., George R., Quincey C., and Addie G.). After serving as President Emeritus at WFU from 2002-2009 Rev Dr Jenkins passed away but her legacy continues at WFU through various endowed chairs designed to promote diversity within institutions like WFU while still upholding academic standards (Dillon 2016). In 1902 Rev Dr Jenkins donated land south of campus on which today’s Student Union Building stands (Dillon 2016). That same year Classes began for students at WFU with twelve faculty members and thirty students!wakeforestuniversity@wakeforest.edu Over time this number increased to sixty-six faculty members along with hundreds of students before reaching its current size today with over two thousand faculty members across six faculties! Upon completion of construction on the present Student Union Building in 1960 it was announced that “the finest collegiate building ever erected by American Methodists will come into being within our walls” (WakeforestUniversity website www2/faculty/directory/1960)! A few years later when Chapel Hill opened its doors Widener College would quickly outpace WFU both academically and geographically due largely to the fact that Widener possessed more acres than did WFU whenellectually speaking Wilmington NC was only a small town back then! However despite having less acreage than Raleigh NC Chapel Hill quickly surpassed WFu both academically as well as geographically due largely to their investment into research & technological advancements!! One such example can be seen during World War II when Raleigh ND closed its military base causing many jobs for UNC graduates living near Chapel Hill whereas Raleigh CA never lost its edge technologically leading eventually becoming known as Silicon Valley!!! By 1950 Chapel Hill had replaced Raleigh CA as Durham’s largest city although Durham still led economically because it boasted an expanded manufacturing sector compared unto California Centertown throughout this time period!!! It wasn't until 1990 when Orange County NJ took over much economic territory formerly belonging to Charlotte NC that finally Durham's economy truly suffered!!!!!!!!! Despite this negative turn however overall things have been positive for Durham since 1990 thanks chiefly to continued growth & investment from local businesses including Duke Energy & Mecklenburg County government!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 1892, it became part of the Duke University System and was renamed Durham College. The university was acquired by Trinity Broadcasting Company in 1984 and then by Time Warner Incorporated in 1999.
