As a result, many Russian farmers moved into northwestern Pennsylvania during this time period as well. These settlers did not have access to education or other resources that would have helped them create successful businesses like those established by Yankees during the early 1800s. However, some Russian immigrants did manage to create small farms around various villages such as DDRownsend (now Downtown Brooklyn) which still remains one of America’s most vibrant commercial centers today due largely to its ties with Russian culture and business practices today!
