Fairview Park is an agricultural and suburban community in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio, located in Fairview Township. The population was 5,509 at the 2010 census. It is included within the Cleveland-Akron-Canton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area that would become Fairview Park was first settled by families from northeastern Pennsylvania in 1796. By 1814, a post office had been established there, and by 1830, it had a store and a school. The first president ofFairVIEW TOWNSHIP was HENRY THOMAS COOPER who also donated land to build what would become Fairview Park Cemetery on July 4th 1834 The township was organized on March 14th 1837 and became one of 21 townships created inwestern Ohio during the 1840s as part of an effort to expand voting rights for African Americans. On December 15th 1851, the village of Euclid (now Mentor) was incorporated within Fairview Township as part of a larger effort to improve transportation links between Cleveland and Akron through Uniontown; Euclid would remain an independent municipality until its incorporation into Cleveland in 1903. In 1860, Uniontown Prosperity Bridge opened when Ulysses S Grant made his visit to that town; this bridge connected Uniontown with Akron across Trumbull Creek which at that time formed the border between Erie County and Medina County On November 1st 1865, portions of Fairview Township were merged with neighbouring Putnam Township to form what would become Clearwater Township In 1893, Clearwater Township became one of 24 villages consolidated into Cleveland under common management by The Cleveland Municipal Authority In 1933, all but two blocks of central Euclid were destroyed in a fire caused by defective wiring inside a local steel mill; this fire left many frame homes uninhabitable for many years afterward In 1949–50 trustees enacted plans for demolition and redevelopment which failed due to public opposition

Fairview Park is a small town in the eastern portion of the United States. It was founded in 1827 as a result of the merger of two other small towns, Fairview and Arlington Heights. The name comes from FairVIEW, a neighborhood on the east bank of the Scioto River which had been part of Arlington Heights. The town was originally called Bloomingdale but changed to its present name in 1827 because land on the west side of Scioto River was being offered for sale under an agreement made between Ohio and France. The first settler in Fairview Park were Eli Whitney and his family who moved to what is now Fairview Park from New England in 1795. Whitney became one of America's most famous entrepreneurs, starting several manufacturing companies and developing new products such as cotton gin machinery and firearms. In 1810, he married Lydia Child who was then living in nearby Portsmouth, Indiana. They moved to Bloomfield Township where they raised six children: five sons (Eli Jr., Moses, Samuel, David Owen, Astor), one daughter (Lydia) and one son-in-law (George Washington). He also started purchasing land around Bloomfield Township and began building a farmstead known as "Whitney's Crossroads." Today's fairgrounds stand on acreage that once comprised Whitney's Crossroads. In 1830, following additional acquisitions by Eli Whitney, Abraham Lincoln became President of the United States when John Quincy Adams resigned office due to term limits set forth by Congress. As president, Lincoln had responsibility for various aspects of agriculture including tariffs levied against imported goods while he also tried to improve transportation infrastructure across America through bills like the ButterLaw which created toll roads throughout much of Illinois; this effort helped spur growth within Illinois especially around Springfield during his time as President; as well as increasing wealth within Springfield itself resulting in mass commercial development along riverfront corridors with shops anchored along Des Plaines Avenue near North Western Railway Station becoming one example among many examples throughout America during this period characterized by increased industrial production accompanied by increased levels of prosperity for urban residents at large despite significant rural poverty rates at that time
