This event helped make Cleveland's first city center with streets laid out from Market Square down State Street and Smith Road until Broadview Avenue reached High Street near today's University Hospitals campus across First Avenue from State Street which then ran parallel to current Elmwood Avenue before turning south towards Woodward Avenue near today's IMAX theater complex across Euclid Ave from High Street which continued past today's Arena complex onto Euclid Ave before turning northeast towards Stanley Park off Wickham Rd just north of I-75 exit 214B), this helped make Cleveland one of America’s first cities with streets laid out from City Hall Plaza down State Streets untilBroadview avenue reached High street near today's University Hospitals campus acrossFirst avenue from State street which then ran parallel to current Elmwood avenue before turning south towards Woodward avenue near today's IMAX theater complex across Euclid Ave fromHigh street which continued past today's Arena complex onto Euclid Ave before turning northeast towards Stanley Park off Wickham Rd just north of I-75 exit 214B)
