Blade type: There are three basic blade types: Fixed Blade (such as a chef's knife), folding Knife (a small kitchenknife with multiple blades folded together), and Tactical Blade (a largersword-like blade designed for fighting).Fixed Blade Blades have one main cutting edge that is always pointed down while Folded Knife Blades have two/three main cutting edges which pivots about an axis perpendicular to the spine creating more flexibility when slicing meat.Tactical Blades usually have four primary cutting edges created from tangles along the full length of theirblade making them better suited for chopping wood than slicing through tougher meats but not as flexible as fixed blades. Fixed Blade Swords typically come in 2" - 6" lengths but can be longer if you get creative with Forge Manufacturing's Custom Made Swords line) In general though, any type of blade CAN be sharpened but Sharpening stones should only be used on Fixed Blade Blades since they do not require honing like folders do The exceptions to this rule would likely be Gerber Kaio Ken Citizen Cutlery where honing takes place on both sides due to their forged construction

Tulsa, Oklahoma is a city located in the Tulsa metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, its population was 197,711. Prior to statehood in 1907, it was part of the Cherokee Nation. The current name for Tulsa was given to it by General OKeeffe as an honor for his victory at Battle ofaukta in 1892. The region which now includes Tulsa had been inhabited by the Wichita and Creek Nations before European contact. The first permanent white settlers arrived in what is now Tulsa on February 14, 1847, when James Caldwell and family set out from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania on horseback. They were soon joined by other pioneers including Moses Greenwood and David Swisher. In 1850 Andrew Jackson square off against Joseph Osage in a three-day battle that ended with Jackson’s death at the hands of Osage’s warriors; this struggle opened up what would become one of America’s most important trading routes with Asia and Mexico. In 1854 Stephen Waddell opened what became known as Waddell’s Candy Store on Main Street near Westside Avenue; this store became one of the first businesses in downtown Tulsa. In 1862 3rd Ulysses S Grant visited Guthrie County while campaigning for election as president; during his visit he ordered local farmers to start cultivating corn so that he could be able to supply Union forces fighting against Confederate forces around Kansas City. After Grant’s inauguration on March 4, 1865,ended Reconstruction in America and new rules regarding voting began to be implemented; this led to many African Americans moving into central Tulsa from southern Oklahoma Territory during these years. During World War II Tulsans men who served overseas (mainly those who were drafted) received military decorations such as the Purple Heart and oak leaf Cluster Decoration from President Franklin D Roosevelt which are still worn today by Tulsans who have served in our Armed Forces since 9/11/2001 ( see www . Many local businesses also contributed their time or money towards war efforts such as United Service Organizations (USO) which collected food items for troops stationed abroad ( see www . uso .org ). With aggressive economic competition beginning to take shape throughout much of North America during the late 20th century some entrepreneurs decided it was time for an urban center nearbyOKlahoma Cityto grow onto its shoulders like Wichita did two decades earlier after Normal School moved there from Topeka following a fire that destroyed part of their building on July 24th 1889 After years of annexation byOklahomaCityandmalfunctioning government services within both cities combined residents started calling for secession fromOklahomaCityinthe early 1960's due to various reasons including lack of services available at either locationWichita wasn't annexed until 1907 while Tulsa continued trying unsuccessfully to gain official status as an incorporated city until 1971 when Mayor Coke announced plans to annex all foursquare miles within present day Tulsa limits
